Don't do lines, drybrush. That would look much better.

Not only were they black, but they also didn't wear the aquila on their chests....

I guess it's possible some may have fallen SINCE the heresy too.

only to save a lot of repainting.

Try to make a photo of one mini at once. If we see more details we could give you more advices

got a spare watcher in the dark lying around that you would be willing to trade?

they look really good, important thing is how do YOU feel about them?? are you happy with the result??

Put a piece of tissue paper in front of whatever light you're using to cut down on the glare.

Ya, filter the light with tissue paper, and use a white background to photograph against, such as a sheet of printer paper, for photos of your mini's.

I hate the fact that everyone is always kissing everyone's butts when they put miniatures online. Call a dog a dog and if the models suck, so say. Don't tell someone that horribly painted models that look like they were dunked in a can of house paint "really great looking models!" That doesn't do anyone a service. Call me mean and nasty if you like, but if you put models up for everyone to see, give honest feedback, don't blow smoke.

and "this mini is tabletop quality at best and poor at worst although it's difficult to tell from the picture quality." which i think is even still a little harsh.

my suggestions would be to read a couple tutorials on taking pictures (coolminiornot has some and Fine Scale Modeler has an excellent one. and secondly to just paint more mini's to improve.

okay, I'm trying not to be too harsh with this:
the green looks too dirty. okay, they're chaos marines but I would try to drybrush them some more and the base of the champion is IMO a bit too much. the "dress" (robe, whatever, I have no idea) looks okay, but I would stick with brown, not yellow.

and try to cut down on the flashlight please

not everybody is a great painter, if somebody thinks there mini's look good than be glad they think so, dont kick em in the nuts and say they look crap. i have ssen some mini's that look like somebody poured paint on them but as the person got better and better the mini's improved. if you are to harsh to start with it puts peole off.

(sorry for bumping old topic)

Hmmmm.... Problem with all this is Fallen Angels are exactly evil and "Posessed" as you are displaying in this army. They are a rable of Mercenaries, some evil but not possessed and crazed by chaos (or else they would be a chaos space marine, and not fallen anymore), etc...
