Not much known now but Gangs of the Undercity is being created by some ex-shadowrun freelancers (the face of the operation being Opti who's pretty well known in the community). Kickstarter will be July 2020.

If there's a way to get a bunch of these minis for a tempting price, I'd be interested. But it will have to take a back seat to Ankh.

I know this is a super minor issue that the project creator might not even see, but it's bothering the heck out of me...

All the katakana in the image are backwards but all of the kanji (that I can see anyway) are correct (or are vertically symmetrical, however there are two non-symmetrical kanji I can see which are correct to assume the image isn't simply mirrored).

It's really irritating to look at.

I can't vouch for the Korean in the distant background of the image, as I can't read Korean.

Ya I noticed that too. I don't know if anyone has brought it up to Opti.

I'm familiar with some Korean, took classes years ago, but not enough to determine if the blurry stuff they have is correct.

Minis look promising.

Need more troll types. Always liked trolls in Shadowrun.

The backwards katakana was the first thing I saw too. Glad I'm not the only one it irked considering the relentless teasing I get for even a slightly wrong stroke order when writing kanji.

I lived there. I knew many Japanese who never used the right stroke order. Yes they teased me when I did it wrong despite that. If you want to mess with them learn how to write apple or flag and make fun of them for messing up the stroke order (around 40 for both of those).

If the system delivers, it'll be decent to look into. However, between N17, Gangfight, and Reality's Edge... I think this itch has been scratched. Still wouldn't hurt to have another game, as long as it's tolerant to outside company's miniatures. I've no desire to play with punk trolls with Ingrams. Just not my preference.

I only saw one sign and thought it was supposed to be a reflection on glass, but now that you pointed it out, it seems like a weird choice. Maybe they sing backwards at the karaoke bar?

Anyway, I need more crims for Urban Manhunt, so I hope this delivers.

None of those mix in magic and fantasy so it's has room to standout.

As for rules they're going to start dev blogs sometime this month hopefully that will start explaining system and setting.
