Subject: Help needed identifying Dark Elf miniature

I won an eBay auction for a pile of Dark Elf bits and amongst the sprues was the following model. Does anybody have any idea what it is? Is it a conversion? It comes with a Sea Dragon cloak and looks very Games-Workshopy, but the Cold One head doesn't match anything I can find in catalogues.

Oh wow yes that's exactly it - the right arm is converted and holding a chain harness. Thanks for the assistance, the head fits so well I hadn't considered it was a conversion of one of the older Cold Ones.

Yeah, I think it is the old Malus miniature on a newer plastic Cold One, that has it's head swapped to the old Cold One's head. They've also cut and repositioned Maleus' left arm.

I have this miniature. The Cold One is the plastic body from that time period with a metal head that came with the Malus Darkblade kit.

That face is pretty characteristic, TBH. At first blush it didn't really register that it was a conversion ^^

I had to go check my collection and make sure my Malus conversion was still there when I saw that picture. Well, technically my Malus isn't converted, but Spite (the cold one) is, and it's pretty similar.
Of course, there's probably only so many ways you can splice that head onto the new bodies...
