Megalon was always my favorite growing up. Seatopia will rise up with their hairy white guys to fight two cool bachelor dudes who build robots in their spare time!

This looks like something I could get behind, but... properly proportioned, not chibi or anything? The sculpt and the 'Funko' label are throwing me off.

I've never seen a Funko that i've actively wanted to get. Not even the Funkomarines. Something about them just doesn't jive with me.

These however... These I might make an exception for. Especially if I can get G, MechaG or Biollante.

Each Kaiju is represented by a large figure

How large is 'large'? What's the material? Any assembly or painting required? 4 kaiju minis (and a crapload of tokens) - will there be expansions with other kaiju? Just showa or will there be heisei and later variants?

Probably the most important question: any idea when there's more news on this?

I have a five-year old that's going to want me to buy this.............I wonder if it'll have simple enough rules to teach him, even in a really simplified way. I showed him one of my Godzilla movies and gave him an ancient 16" vinyl figure, and he went all-in.

Not sure about Megalon, though. Super weird it wouldn't be Gigan, or another high-profile villain.

They're nice enough, but the 3D terrain is not all I was hoping for...

Hmm... could that terrain work for 6mm?

Rodan or Mecha-Godzilla, I would have thought.

Hopefully the presence of Megalon, and the absence of more prominent monsters, means that Funko anticipates releasing expansion packs for this.

Simplified, and... chunkified. Nowhere near as much as the usual bobblehead funkos, but I can't remember any point where King Ghidora was quilted.

I'm expecting too much from board game meeples, but I was hoping these would be a bit more, I dunno, refined.
