I don't think a pr Department can actually take a stand or be relevant in such a Context, what matters is the people themselves not corporations but the state itself so to speak .

And for that Change you'd need actual reform, however i feel Like you are drifting heavily in the political sphere which isn't allowed on dakka.

I don't see how a statement against "prejudice, hatred, or abuse" is a political statement.

I can definitely see how some will take it that way. The same way that Wolfenstein suddenly became politicized even though it is and has always been about killing Nazis.

Certainly posting an official GW statement must be allowed. It is also sad if having a bare minimum of common decency is seen as political.

Meh not my opinion just far more divisive in the current climate then it should have any right to be and we know why there is a lid on such discussion on dakka if we have taken a Look at the US politics thread at the time...

It really, deeply amuses me that they released this statement so close to their controversial mid-pandemic price hike.

At the same time, they did say if you don't feel the same way you will not be missed. There are racist people everywhere and Warhammer is a slice of the population like everything else.

For example the youtube channel Arch Warhammer is made by a blatantly racist individual, it's not hard to find screenshots of him insulting non-white people of all varieties on the internet from his discord.
