Subject: Upcoming 3D printable miniatures Kickstarter: The Raygun Raptors
I'll be watching. Sucker for Dinosaurs/Lizardfolk. DInosaurs with lazer guns?
I'm going to spam my printer friends.

I mean, fifty bucks is on the line.
There's no rule that says I can't.
If only there were a term to describe those of us who grew up with portrayals of scaly, tail-dragging reptiles, those of us whose time has passed, who are practically extinct.
Thanks for the feedback. One of the stretch goals is a "Stormtrooper" variant, with extra armour, including legs.
As for feathers, I would have liked a feathered variant indeed. Problem is that feathers, being pointy small details, don't print very nicely on FDM printers and I wanted the minis to be FDM friendly. So right now they're more the Jurassic Park type raptors. Maybe not scientifically accurate, but then neither are the laser guns ;-) But if there's enough demand for feathered variants then I'll make that a stretch goal for sure.
I’ll have to see what the prices are like. I have a PLA printer, so finely detailed 28mm minis are a nonstarter. But at 300%, those space raptors should pass as some other technologically-adept theropods.
