Welcome to the Great Wargaming Survey 2020!
Please note that the survey focuses exclusively on tabletop miniature wargaming.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the results of a hundred battles."
- Sun Tzu

Apart from rolling dice, there seem to be few things wargamers like to do better than discuss the state of their hobby. The purpose of this survey is to answer some of the questions that regularly come up in such debates. As before, we'll publish those results in a variety of ways.

Thanks to our gracious sponsors, we've got a bunch of prizes to give away to some lucky winners and everyone gets a 20% discount coupon and a bunch of WSS articles, free of charge, upon completion.

Finally, filling out the entire survey shouldn't take more than 15 minutes, and we're taking responses until August 31st, 2020.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

seems to come round quicker every year !

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
The basis of optimism is sheer terror

Did we ever see the results breakdown from last year’s survey?

PS: I got the email addressed to “history fans”, then marked every history related ranking as N/A.

I went to the point where I had to list the game systems I play. Funny enough, they bothered listing Warhammer/Age of Sigmar, but couldn't add Horus Heresy as a separate thing. Not even mention it near Warhammer 40k. So I just closed it
