I bought an el cheapo weaponless Land Raider on eBay for the sole purpose of rescuing it. So here we go.



The Land Raider as I got it. No weapons, and some construction errors, such as one of the sponsons being put on upside down and some of the tracks being put on the wrong side. I'd only find out both of these when I was in too deep a bit so I'd need to just go with it. Time to sacrifice it to Grandfather Nurgle!

Very nice indeed! You've got a hell of an imagination, I'm glad Papa Nurgle gets the privilege of massaging it.

As soon as I scrolled past the original land raider to what you did with it, my coworker asked me what I was laughing about. This is an absolutely insane conversion. It is so over the top, this is what 40K really is. I love it. My favorite part is the hungerrry "front ramp".

What a wild ass job. This must have taken forever.

Surprisingly, it didn't take that long to build and paint. I got the both mini and the jaws in the post on 17/8, spent roughly a week sculpting bits and working out how to exactly build the lascannons (TBH, I wanted to build it as one of the FW ones, particularly an Achilles; but with GW not being afraid to delete units willy-nilly I stuck with the codex one) and other bits. Spent the second week painting it and I finished it last week on the 31/8.

The painting went by far easier as I have my Nurgle scheme down to a fine art so I knew what colours needed to go where.

Correct. It’s a cut down Ravenak’s gnashing jaws.

Much of my DG, and their vehicles look like that. Just went balls to the wall corrupted with them.
