Feel free to hit the yellow triangle to alert us to any threads that should get moved over!! Also note that blog threads (like in P&M blogs) tracking your 3D printing projects progress are welcome here (can update the description if that isn't clear).

Thanks to everyone who suggested this subforum, hope it's useful! The best thing you can do to help it get established is to go post there right now

You'll eventually fail a will save and succumb.

It's not the hobby panacea alot of folks (including myself!) get as a first impression from looking at the various threads and groups but it is incredibly useful and fun. It just involves more of a learning curve and pre- and post- printing processing than simple viewing of completed results would indicate. I can't model worth a damn (digital gap filling and repositioning is about the limit of my personal skills) but it's definitely rewarding to come up with figs that literally no one else in the world has at a quality that equals or exceed quality board games from just a few years ago.

Finally, we can separate threads I mostly skim then ignore from the threads I mostly ignore then skim.

Like in that Chinese saying, “we are blessed to live in such interesting times.” Yay!
