I'll second the micron pens being brought up here - I think they're great for parchment text - I'd reccommend you practice a little to get your hand in.

If you're feeling brave, or wanna try a colour that isn't red, black or brown (my go to colours for a Sakura Pigma Micron pen), I have a Tamiya brush with an ultra-fine tip that does script pretty nicely - if you're interested I'll check the name when I get home.
