Again, my Emperor's Children army is modelled on the theme that daemonettes have taken the gear from their CSM slave. THus:

My noise Marine Dread acting as the throne for a particular Daemonette.
Based on a regular Space Marine dread rescue. Tons of bits used, the sarcophodus turned into a throne and a Daemonette partially sculpted on. Used chopped up thighs to get the hips right, and a torso, Sculpted the legs, the head is an extra from my verge of war kickstarter. My sculpting skills remain decent but not great, and my eyesight has grown far worse the last few years, but I still like it!

The double blastmaster arm is the old havoc missile launcher with extra bits. My favorite part is the bellows on top. It's like a giant set of bagpipes, but probably doesn't do as much damage when played...(sorry my Scottish allies, I couldn't resist).

The left arm is a bits thing. Both arms are magnetized if I change my mind on load out. I'm really debating the missile launcher instead of CC weapon.

Anyway, comments from fellow modeler converters welcome.

That is glorious

The crossed leg pose fits perfectly. This entity is right at home

The only thing I dont dig is the claw.
Think its bit too un-elegant for EC.

Not sure how much big demon claws go for on ebay these days though.. But a big crab claw slaneshy appendage would IMO work better.

However, I do like everything else you have done. Great work on the sculpt..

Thanks for the comments.

@ Argive. I am actually with you on the claw. It has a cool factor, but just doesn't fit. You're idea is a good one. I couldn't pull that off myself so will have to do some searching to change it. I also would like a lash tentacle arm for another option. Have a bunch of chains, but its not coming together.

As a note, my first idea was a giant guitar with an axe blade clutched in a hand, but again, just couldn't turn the visualization into reality.

Maybe some of these bits ?

Potentialy couple claws melded together? No idea if one would do or how big these are to scale with a boxo naught you'd have to ask somebody for a size comparison.

If you want tendrils the endless spell one with the wierd face might do the trick.

On the higher end is the KOS model. But it would probably be too expensive just for one arm unless you can get just the claw bit from a bits seller for a reasonable price.

This is a really cool conversion! Love the way she's slouching on that throne, completely at ease as it blasts music and missiles.

Okay, I said I didn't like the mechanical more orky arm. I found some DE whip arms and got inspired. So here it is with the lashing tentacle arm (again, all arms magnetized for switching in and out).

Argive, thanks again for some input and inspiration. I'm a guy who needs and uses it!

Pictures. I took the last at more of a down angle to show the daemonette "queen" better. she isn't perfect, but I really couldn't be happier given my skill and concept.

You're on the right track, but that looks far too weedy.

Sculpt some whips/tentacles out of green stuff and have those as the ends of them.

@Grimtuff: Yeah, still looks wussy. Really need to go with the sculpting option. Just doing tentacles that don't look like spaghetti isn't easy. Thanks for the comments though. Motivating.

To be honest, I think those could work, but there just needs to be significantly more of them to give more impression of bulk. Then again, that might also trail off into spaghetti...

Okay, this is the final version of the Scourge/tentacle arm. Also some pics of the missile launcher arm and his completed base showing my army's lave theme.

I beefed the tentacles up with plastic tubing to give it a mechanical/metal shape and thickness, leaving the tentacles sticking out. I like it. Could be bulkier and more impressive, but Ideas were not coming and she's slated for games this coming weekend.

I really appreciate the input from everyone!

Nice additions to the tentacles, and that lava base is radical!
