Hi all,

This is my Growing Daughters of Khaine army
The queen

I cant take full credit for Morathi cause I had a lot of assistance with her and her demon form. But I want to start the blog off somewhere and she's part of the army. Stuff 100% painted by me will be coming soon

And the big demon form herself

Alot of heavy lifting is thanks to my good friend Dave Coulson aka Greywolfe (to give credit were credit is due) I want to show off the full army so these 2 get to be shown first

Thoughts comment criticisms welcome

I can see them now! Morathi looks great as do the rest of your DoK. The war paint looks very crisp!

Great choice of colours for the medusa, I like the subtle shifts from the top to the bottom of the model. Vivid blood and gore makes a lovely contrast too.

The blood is honestly my least favourite thing about that model, but since it is sculpted all over it you gotta commit to it. I would prefer if it was left off though.

Yeah I've seen it shaved off of some peoples model...I just dont have the time for that level of converting.. WE's take too long to paint as is

Nice job on the face! These models really benefit from some eye make up but it can be pretty tough to do! You did a good job with her.

Hey thanks!

I JUST turned a corner on being able to sorta paint eyes....which helps when you entire army has no helmets

The faces have something very reminiscent of old D&D book cover art and I'm here for it. I think it might be that you've managed to make it look like they have makeup?

It looks like they're slightly backlit in your photo area set-up though.

My Witch elves do make use of make up to enhance their already lovely complexion. Apologies my pic set up sucks here some different photos.

Can you post an example of what you mean by by old d&dd book cover art? I'd like to see the reference
