Here it is : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ttcombatundead/siege-of-the-smallfolk/description
After other Kickstarter projects to make a full halfling army and then Desert of the Dead, Trolltrader comes back with another, offering three new armies and a bunch of monsters.
Here we have goblins, female ogres, giants, dragons...and bretonnian halflings. Well that's what I'm calling them, I guess "fantasy arthurian themed halflings" could work too.
Here are a few pictures :
Of course, a siege isn't one without a castle to attack / defend...And TTCombat is know for their MDF terrains.
It's not a project as big as Desert of the Dead, but Trolltrader has been fairly reliable for the previous ones (well, they have been delayed with the horrible situation in the world, of course, but we can't really say it's their fault here) and here it seems they're aiming for a more "humble" one.
Then the halfling knights on poneys are cute.
And hell, the whole project is justified just for the Pigasus, to me. Such. A. Glorious. Beast (and word game ).
Miniatures are in resin and generally in one piece, but some are multipart in this project (still resin, though). The quality...varies (lot of work to clean, some bubbles and holes to fill with green stuff, some bend weapons, and so on), but for the price, it's very fair.

I got like 600 GBP of stuff in the last one and only the Kroxigor guys were noticeably miscast.
Unfortunately with Brexit shipping being what it is I'll be skipping all further UK based campaigns.

I'm still waiting for my pledge from the previous Kickstarter, i know it was shipped a month ago but i'm assuming it got stuck somewhere along the way thanks to Covid.
So far i'm not that interested in this Kickstarter, the prices are good but i don't like the design of most of the Ogre stuff and the Goblins aren't really anything special either. The Bretonnian halflings are a fun idea that would be enjoyable to paint but they're not something that I'd really want a large army of though.
I think the forest and undead dragon's look OK, but the rest of the dragons all look like cheap toys and need a lot more work.
The prices of the Gargants are also really good but its hard to make out the details in the images. They really needs to start providing larger images or even start uploading 360° videos of their renders onto YouTube.

Shoot them a PM requesting this. I'm sure if you have problems seeing the details, others do too.
The KS, btw, was originally going to be larger, but they broke it up into smaller parts. Gnolls, frex, were previewed, but are not in this campaign. Myself, I *really* liked a sculpt of a goblin swinging a net full of bees (: but it wasn't included in this campaign. ):
So no big deal if you don't find what you like in this campaign. Wait for the next one!

That pigasus alone justifies a pledge. Might have to get the forest dragon, too, but after their last two campaigns I’m pretty much halflinged out.

What is nice is that this time, they gave some of their miniatures to a painter so that they can show how they really look like during the campaign.
They revealed a picture of the halfling bowmen :
True, it's really a niche army, but I love the bretonnian vybe here.
Apparently, the squires will be showed later once we reached the first stretch goal.

It is very jarring to me that the small folk have such HUGE bows that their lil hands cannot adequately hold them.
I would have assumed they would make or use bows that are geared to their size..
it just makes me think of them as kids, trying out their parents weaponry

New update today, adding the Horde pledges :
They said they each roughly represent 320 £ of units (if taken separately at the current price of the addons), so it's still a deal.
Also, they shortened the stretch goals above 14.000 £ to each every 1.000 £ instead of 2.000 £. They also added a bigger list and some of them will be included for free in the Horde pledge. The more we have, the better the Horde pledge becomes.
And now we also have a Giant pledge to have an easy Son of Behemath army for AoS
They said the "normal" giants will be three different sculpts in the end, so that there will be some variety for the pledge.
Finally, we have a picture of painted halfling squires on foot
They look really nice !

Down to the final 10 hours for this Kickstarter, it was pretty slow for most of the campaign but they've started to knock out some stretch goals over the past week. I'm assuming they will probably manage to unlock the rest in the pledge manager.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ttcombatundead/siege-of-the-smallfolk/description
The Gaggle of Giant deal is insanely good value, its a full Sons of Behemat army for almost $50 less then a single fething Mega-Gargant model costs over here in Australia... They've said that there's going to be 3 different sculpts for the smaller giants too.
