Just going to wonder here when the Beast Snaggas box will get released, and then how long the rest of us poor sods will have to wait until everything in it gets a separate release - including the codex.

Probably June Sisters and Orks July.

That said, they both seem to be Codex releases with a fair amount of miniatures, a new big box for Orks too, etc..

They aren't the "one-token-HQ"-mini and a book throw-away releases we've seen for AdMech and Drukhari. With AoS 3.0 also in the summer-mix, maybe they space it a little? Depending on how logistics go in the coming months?

I think the actual Ork Release likely won't be until August or September. The beast Snagga box may be up in end of June/July.

It really depends on when AoS 3.0 Launches and how much of the calendar that takes up. We saw last year the Lumineth box went up in April (I think?) and the full army didn't release until after 9th edition in September.

I could honestly see it going like this: Sisters, Beastsnagga box, Dominion, SCE and Morruk Dexes/lines, Thousand Sons/GK then the full Ork release.

I'm still annoyed at that. Pre-orders going up in the last week of October does not make for "Orktober". You know it's bad when a tiny company like Kromlech does a better job at Orktober than actual Games Workshop.

Let me know when you do. have an Exalt in the meantime.

"Because the Wolves kill cleanly, and we do not. They also kill quickly, and we have never done that, either. They fight, they win, and they stalk back to their ships with their tails held high. If they were ever ordered to destroy another Legion, they would do it by hurling warrior against warrior, seeking to grind their enemies down with the admirable delusions of the 'noble savage'. If we were ever ordered to assault another Legion, we would virus bomb their recruitment worlds; slaughter their serfs and slaves; poison their gene-seed repositories and spend the next dozen decades watching them die slow, humiliating deaths. Night after night, raid after raid, we'd overwhelm stragglers from their fleets and bleach their skulls to hang from our armour, until none remained. But that isn't the quick execution the Emperor needs, is it? The Wolves go for the throat. We go for the eyes. Then the tongue. Then the hands. Then the feet. Then we skin the crippled remains, and offer it up as an example to any still bearing witness. The Wolves were warriors before they became soldiers. We were murderers first, last, and always!" —Jago Sevatarion

If you are the one xenos faction receiving regular non-trivial releases while having a functional codex that is somewhat fun to play, there are precious little things to get mad about.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.

Funny, because there is this one faction that got 7+ vehicles and 6+ characters (and probably more I forgot) last edition and is now getting two whole new pretty big subfaction expansions in this one yet players of it complain all the time

So sisters are getting their pre-orders next weekend huh? Means there's another AOS slot then after that possibly a 40K slot. Think it'll be that snaggas box set? It's the only 40K thing I can think of still lined up for a release in the near future.

A possible june 26th release does sound feasible.

Unlikely. It'll be Sisters and then Sisters the following week (there are more releases than what was previewed for preorder today). And then the back half of June will be AoS Dominion.
Beastsnaggas will most likely be July.

After that, it will be juggling the order of Sigmarines battletome, new Swampgob battletome (and their 'reinforcements'), Ork codex and the TS/GK Versus box (followed by their codexes). The order of those is pretty up in the air (at least from the outside).
Also sometime will be the AoS starter boxes- those may well be right before the battletomes, to be honest.

7+ vehicels and 6+ characters is incorrect.

6 vehicles, including one character and 3 characters (including the aforementioned vehicle) are the correct numbers. Plus one (useless) fortification. 9 new releases in total, not the 13+ you claimed. 8 boxes, as two characters are included in a single kit.

Not that I complain about it, I didn't buy any of those and I won't buy any of the upcoming releases, just wanted to correct some false statements.

Looks like TS & GK will come before Orks, as the MFM has new codex points for both while Orks only have updates to their 8th ed book.

Are they referring to orks? Those numbers were so far off, I assumed they were talking about sisters or necrons.

If it's about orks, it's worth noting that the people complaining are always the same 2-3 people, plus the few posters who always jump to the latest release and complain about that.

FW Nob Bikers were tweaked. But either way it doesn't matter: MFM still shows Orks to be behind TS & GK in the release order, updates to non-FW or no

I assumed orks because of the whole ..."and is now getting two whole new pretty big subfaction expansions...". Necrons already had their new models and upcoming sisters don't look like something that can be called a new subfaction. Snagga and the new orks do.

Well, given today's article, I now think the beast snagga box is coming sooner. The regular release is a ways off (likely after the magic marines versus box), but the special limited box (and the codex inside) is probably in the near future, or they wouldn't be doing articles on ork upgrades.

July sounds about right. 5th and 12th of June are both likely to be Sisters of Battle, and this month’s Compulsive Spending Coin is SoB themed.

Then we have a likely two week order window for the new edition of AoS, probably no earlier than 19.

We know there’s an Orky one, as it was shown off a month or three back. Makes sense that the pre-order will either be 26 June or 3 July.

Ork releases of late have been....astoundingly fast. Our codex release while slower than most other main factions is still incredibly fast when compared to previous GW treatment.

Going 5th and 6th without a codex and than getting probably the worst in 7th was a bit lackluster. But since than its been all wonderful in comparison. 8th we had a strong codex with a bunch of good units, we weren't top tier but we were definitely strong. 9th...we're doing ok but that isn't bad for a faction that doesn't have a codex yet. Most of us are still buying those new kits that were released in 8th so these 9th ones are going to be just the cherry on the top, and from the looks of them, they are significantly better looking (in my opinion) than the buggies which with the exception of the scrapjet, look like crap to me

My only concern is whether or not GW will nerf orkz by incorrectly pricing these new T5 ork boyz. At 8ppm its a solid buff, at 9ppm its a minor buff, at 10ppm its barely a buff at all and at 11 Its a nerf.
