Hi,

Been looking for some parts to adorn my Flesh Eater Courts models and their bases...

In a hobby full of massed fantasy battles I would have thought someone produces armour parts, such as breastplates, shoulder armour, chainmail, full face / open face empty helmets etc... I mean you'd naturally expect parts to be laying all over a battlefield and would be great for basing. Can I find any?!?! My Google-Fu is weak. I've checked 'alot' of skeleton sprues, as I thought that would be a prime source of armour... again. No.

I'm sure it's been done before, but I'm looking for 'empty' armour parts I can put on the FEC Ghouls to re-enforce the whole state of madness they live in and also to leave lying on their bases. Really looking for Bretonnian style parts, Empire style parts to blend into the Sigmar world, but literally any pieces will do.

I found a great part in the Deathrattle Skeleton box, a holed breastplate... but only 1 piece. Would rather quite a few more...

Not opposed to using blue stuff to create copies & really only need a handful of pieces to sparsely cover 3 units.

I've checked the thread in this forum for conversion parts, but nothin leaps out... so wondering if anyone here has done the same or knows / remembers parts from sprues that may be of use?

Cheers!

If you've got a 3D printer, I know of a kickstarter with a huge variety of medieval armaments. No armor in there though, but I wouldn't mind taking a look around for you since I have some interest in this as well as I just came into a large collection of old Vampire Count with some Tomb King mixed in, and those old skeletons would look better with some armor mixed in imo.

Anvil seems to do pauldrons at least.

For other armour scraps for use as scenery, you might want to find some torso or leg armour designs you like the look of, and then do a simple press mould out of GS or someting similar.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Nice find! They also do Rennaisance & Fleur de Lis... very cool! Also a great price... will pick some of those up for sure.

Sadly, no 3D printer owned. Not a great fan of them tbh, although the resin ones seem to have great detail and smoother 'gradients' than the PLA ones (ymmv).
Definitely going to chase more parts down, so shout (PM) if you have any luck SergentSilver and I'll do the same ofc!

Cheers guys!
