Ha, I stopped using Wayland after their whole "stocklevel spiel" bit me in the arse twice.

I mean it though, not being able to check in on your order status is somewhat frustrating, but then again, we were testing their new webstore for some time now.

I'm still not sure what alternative to use that would offer similar discounts + free shipping (sometimes with extra 5% off). And in the end I think it's all AoW that does not supply any stock because of reasons, so it would not help to order those directly from them either.. And that's non-Kickstarter stuff, so one could argue they are worse than RH.

Lol, in that case I have no idea.

It doesn't matter for me anyway, since I don't get wave 2 until wave 3.

I took up their offer of shipping some of my stuff if I bought something from their store. So I bought a mini that I wasn't too keen on and paid shipping and now I have a bunch of my stuff on the way. Maybe around a quarter of my total.... Maybe.

I was sticking to single wave shipping all the way, but I thought I'd do this just to get some minis through the door.

Still think I'll have a longish wait for the rest (looking at you cyberzombies) but it'll be nice to have something. It's been a long long time.

Did you get a shipping confirmation or anything yet? I've ordered mine almost two weeks ago now and not a word from them since.

Yeah.

I placed the order on the 6th.

Got a shipping confirmation on the 14th.

That confirmation only itemised the mini that I ordered and Deal #3.

I sent them an email asking if they could tell me which of my ks rewards would be included in the package and Mireille got back to me saying that a separate shipping confirmation would be sent itemising the ks rewards. That confirmation duly arrived a few hours later. Apparently the TGG rewards are located on a different system from the the new webstore, which kinda makes sense.

So, yeah, you should get 2 shipping confirmations; one from your recent webstore order, and another detailing which of your rewards have shipped.

So I was around 8 or 9 days between ordering and shipping. Probably wouldn't hurt to ping Mireille a wee email or something.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

You're the odd one out it seems BrookM, looks like they're doing the shipments for people who've taken their "offer" and the retail orders before the regular shlubs.

It's fun trying to figure out how many people who're buying at the retail release will be getting models I ordered before I do despite them ostensibly having everything remaining from my selection in stock and my having paid for dropshipping. Hmm, no, wait, "fun" isn't the word I was looking for, what would fit...oh, right, "fething depressing".

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Gotta say I'm with Yodhrin on that one, albeit, even if they start to do retail releases aggressively every month I should get at least some of my stuff before everyone else.

Right?

Maybe?

When I spoke to them on their livechat they confirmed I had a wave of models coming with the troops and such, but that if I took advantage of the shipping/discount deal then I'd get the stuff before Christmas. No shipping notifications yet, so I'm not thinking that's going to happen.

Got a reply just now, I'm one of those special, pain in the arse cases I think. Honestly though, I think they are reviewing every order manually that falls under the coupon criteria, which would explain why it takes some time for people to get their confirmations sent out.

Long story short, soon I'll be receiving some minis! They'll be shipping tomorrow! Yay!

Also, the last minis, plus everybody else waiting for wave #3 shipping will be seeing them real soon, either late December or early January according to the email I got just now.

Well, looks like I can finally start work on that Imperial Army and that Imperial Navy detachment soon.

I was pretty happy to see how many minis I'd be getting - a worthwhile speed-up for me and my 'only one shipment' choice during the KS.

Yeah, pretty much how I feel about it too. I was surprised that they're able to ship the iron empire snipers but not the troops though.

Just got basically the same reply saying shipping today or tomorrow. Will be interesting to see if it can get here from France before Christmas.

I got my shipping confirmation just now, so with a bit of luck it may be here before Christmas. Thankfully the French Postal service is nowhere near as slow as Royal Mail.

Royal Mail is fine and dandy when you're in the UK. It's when they cross the Channel that they tend to feth things up. Two months and counting for some Christmas gifts from the UK. I mean come on, it's not like it's coming from the US or OZ!

Well, in the defense of the US, our customs people need to check every package from a firearm, and then if there isn't one present, insert a complimentary one before sending it on it's way.
