Hello guys,

I am currently collecting bean cans as raw material for future terrain pieces and wondered for what type of terrain feature I should be aiming for. My first idea was some kind of silo like a grain silo. Do you any other suggestions? And if I should go for the silo idea how should I model the ladder onto the can? In addition to that should there be any other features on the can for a silo like a hatch on the top? Thoughts?

Here is another one. They are for drinks cans I think rather than food cans, but should spark some ideas at least

Green stuff world sell an oxidiser that causes your metallic paints or other metal parts of your minis to rust. I think that would be cool on some of these projects

Yes, stuff like this! Which materials were used for the ladder (pic 1)?

OH what you can do is cut them right in half down the middle so you have 2 half cylinders, obviously yuou will want to dull the edges. But then you can paint the ribs glowing colors, and make a generator outta it.

To many unpainted models to count.

Thanks. Ladder made out of chipboard. Actually have some of it at home as well as other wood needed for the rungs.

Those are pretty basic materials for anyone looking to build their own "junk terrain" as I like to call it.

Strg Alt,

Chicken wire, just cut it off one end with clippers and added a dab of 5 minute epoxy to make certain none of the ends were sharp. The cages were made from parts of plastic hair curlers purchased at a dollar store.

Hope that helps,

CB
