Crooked dice are putting out a full expansion for all the Flash Gordon inspired stuff they have. In a first they have STLS for terrain only and a good starting amount if pulp sci-fi is your thing.

Those are pretty cool designs. It’s a shame those minis are metal. Any chance of that rocket ship being set up with supports (or whatever) to print at 10mm scale?

You might be able to use the kits that Bombshell minis sell. Since this is Flash Gordon inspired I doubt there will be as that series never had anything like them.

I've ordered from them several times without issue. However, international shipping costs lately have priced me out of ordering from them recently.

They sent out the codes for the pledge manager for their latest KS yesterday, which runs through their own webstore

so they may have had too many simultaneous users trying to get onto and navigate around the site

Ya I had a lot of issues last night. Since I've stood up Wordpress sites before I knew how to deal with some of the quirks but had to send an email as my discount code expired between the time I entered it and went through the payment process (so like a minute).

As for shipping I was surprised on how little it was for my pretty large order. about 30 quid to the states for an all in and then a bunch of other minis I had been eyeing for like a year. That included the increased price they added to the all in pledge for shipping to the states. I was honestly expecting 40-50.

WEBSTORE FIX - CHROME UPDATE+++
Apologies for the issues with the webstore yesterday. We have looked into it overnight and have hopefully resolved the problem.
Increased traffic seemed to affect internal memory logs (we got a LOT of PM orders!), but we have also found that a Chrome browser update seems to be have caused some problems.
After updating Chrome to the latest version it worked straight away and the fields and buttons that were previously missing are now all there.
So we would advise any customers still having problems to:
1) update their Chrome browser
2) clear cache and ensure cookies are enabled.
However, if you continue to get issues, please, please, please let us know and we will investigate further. Sorry again for the inconvenience!

May as well make this the official Crooked Dice thread, they do some cool stuff.

There's a KS ending Aug 14 to bring into production the Corporate Wars (near future cyberpunk) and other lines they got from East Riding Miniatures.

Most are metal from the 90s, add or subtract points to them according to your taste.

But there are some more recent additions. All I know I will be getting some of those military robots and their cyborg nemesis.

I just got my Luna City pledge this week and was very happy with the quality of everything. It was my first order with Crooked Dice.

Guess my only complaint would be one of the things I added from the webstore, a Villans pack not part of the KS, advertises an alternative head -- which it came with -- but to use it you have to cut off the other head as they're not actually separate.

Yeah, they're the old Corporate Wars figures from East Riding Miniatures with a more modern paintjob.

Sadly, the owner passed a couple of years back, good to see the minis again. They're straightforward but characterful sculpts that take a lick of paint well. A bit like the Copplestone Future Wars minis.

Crooked Dice are delighted to announce our fifth collaborative game design project with Edge Hill University - Colony 87!
Based on the Crooked Dice science-fiction miniature range, we are looking for interns to join us in building a world and developing a game - whilst gaining invaluable professional skills to help them in their future careers.
Students will work collaboratively with Crooked Dice to create Colony 87, a story-driven science fiction skirmish game set on a frontier world of traders, bounty hunters, exiles, prospectors, eccentrics, and those on the run.
The project will run from October 2022 until June 2024
