ok fellow followers...
here is the promised update...
in the first pics i show you some of the details i finshed the last coupla days...like:
face grill and chest hatch...
boiler grill
segmented toes
and lastly some much needed scaleshots to better see how big or rather how tine some parts are in comparrision to maybe other walkers out there...:

thanks good sirs!
the hatch took me endless trys... as i was sculpting on the living room table...while my wife watched the mentalist...and she had to endure the endless sighings as my current sculpt went wrong...again...^^ then i finally lubbed the tube i cut the round hatch from the rolled out GS and added some details and let it cure over night... it was still very flexible so that i could then today aply it with more GS to the chest... then i added the hinges...

hmm, I was thinking cutting it out and sticking it on, but I suppose if you could bend it to the shape of the pad, it'd look better there ^^
also, any chance of a scale picture (the whole knight stood next to your regular guardsmen? (possibly your giant tank, too?  )
