Yeah, that scoped rifle doesn't look like the hellgun of the Kasrkin shooting from the hips.

Edit: You can see the thigh plates on the Sgt with the plasma pistol, as well, nice.

Or Kasrkins will be used to represent Grenadiers. Scions and Grenadiers have different roles, and I suspect the latter will have regular IG Regiment keyword, and no deep-strike, while the former will have Scions keyword, the hotshot volley-gun and deep-strike

Personally, I wouldn't mind if Veterans with just lasguns went away to be replaced by Kasrkins/Grenadiers equivalents.

The Kasrkin is just beautiful, can't wait to get a box of them

That better integration, however, comes at the cost of Deepstrike, and quite possibly the possibility to take Hotshot Volleyguns. That also means they can auto wound on 6's.

But that's all speculation/how I would do it.

That's why I like them, they look like commandos dropping behind enemy lines with a ton of gear, because they'll be there for a while and need to carry everything they need for days of fighting.

Eh. I hope it's actually a (non-Hotshot) Volley Gun. Would have about just the same rules as a Heavy Stubber, but fit in better with the Guard.

I'd say 4-5 kits.

Troops, Command, Heavy, Veterans/Grenadiers (Whatever thematically works better for the Regiment)

Maybe a crew upgrade box for vehicles, though those can probably be added to the vehicle box itself

Those backpacks are very similar to the Forgeworld ones, but the rest of the Cadians seem new.

When the previous potato-cam image of guardsmen came out, the rumor suggested there were not just Kasrkin, but also Veteran cadians. GW revealed the Kasrkin, Ursula Creed, and the Sentinel, but the new heavy weapons teams and Cadian Veterans were held back from reveal.

Those backpacks are very likely for the new Cadian Veterans team.

Whatever weapon they have also don't seem to be lasguns, or a different pattern of it. Someone made the guess elsewhere that those could be Shotgun vets.

Yep, sadface. Unless those plasma wielding vets are the new Grenadiers that are more distinct than Scions and Kasrkins. Makes me sad, too, the OG Grenadiers were the first models I bought, and it seems like GW forgot/stopped caring about them when they released the plastic Kriegsmen and called them Veterans.

The rebreathers appear to be seperate pieces next to the heads. I count 12.

There's also 2 Hotshot Volley-Guns, they're just very hard to distinguish, as they have scopes, too. You can see one painted being carried by the Kasrkin with some black cloth over his face and with a grenade at the ready. As for the Longlas, I hope it ends up being an option on the TT game, as well.

Yup, it's what I did on my Anvil Scions with their Volley-Guns, the design is different enough, but I also gave them bipods.

Kill Team's Kasrkins are apparently BS 4+

Two games, two rules and all that, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had that BS as well.
