How do!
Yes it’s kind of a loose sequel to 40K The Musical. Yes I’m recycling an entry.
But here’s a banger from Fife, from a time before I was around. Despite being a natural born Scot, even I had to Google the lyrics. But man. As a protest song if this doesn’t enshrine the inherent noble act of dying in The Emperor’s name?
Yes. That’s right. Not just a song that makes you think of a given faction, but might also reflect it’s worst aspects.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

You're not. If you're worried about your opponent using 'fake' rules, you're having fun the wrong way. This hobby isn't about rules. It's about buying Citadel miniatures.

Gonna have to report my own thread to the Mods, as this was meant for background.
But.
In the meantime! A brace from Iron Maiden. Both heroic in their own way. Each dealing with really quite different scenarios.
First? Regiments defending their Homeworld and kin from invaders, whilst The Guard do what The Guard do.
The second? All too often Guard Doctrine. To us, a senseless waste of life. To a military of the sheer staggering scale of The Imperial Guard? At worst by then ancient history reposting. At best? A carefully calculated, if brutal, distraction. The sacrifice of a relative few to ensure the victory for the many. The historical side is of course Cavalry based, but for The Guard? Even more suited to “over the top, lads” infantry attacks.
An overall strategy I can well imagine working against Orks!
