Ok so I keep seeing refences to warlords having inferno guns but can't find them for them anywhere. is this one of those just use the war hound one thing or was there a kit for them for the warlords? yeas i know it's not an epic strong gun it's for story idea in my head that has a warlord titan with two Arioch power claws and twin inferno guns on carapace on one and mega bolter. but I can't find any pic of them with them not even the old boxy ones. You guys know if that is still a thing or if it was changed?

ps also read something of a head mounted gun?

Somewhere along the line the Inferno Gun was removed as a game option for Warlords.
It was the same weapon the Warhounds sport.

For gaming? Discuss with your opponents.
Writing fanfic? Do whatever you like. If you need to justify it? Just set your story in the past when it was still a game option.

As for the head guns? Long long ago (early 90's) these were options in the 10mm(?) Epic/Titan Legions game. I don't recall ever seeing it as a FW part for 40k scale Titans.

ok thanks, it is set during current gak show because it gives more warp fuckery as it involves fall of 4 sub sectors one having a forge world that was shifted to building titans of an older "box" shape patters to meet demand. so it being able to have the burn the world gun works in that light. Also, it's team Rwby + Neo as leaders of a forming Chaos warband, Ruby the mech shift tech head plus all the weapons in 40k as slaanesh champion caping a forge world. major tech heresy fallows with help of Neo.

but was thinking of building the titans they make in the titan game...

also dose the back mount pair have to be the same guns or can they be different on warlords like one be missiles and the other be the mega bolter?

It was an option in 2nd Edition Space Marine, but not one pretty much anyone would take. Warlord was a plodding unit, ill suited to a short ranged template, especially when it could mount far heavier weapons in greater number than the Reaver chassis.

I’d need to check my Codex Titanicus to see if it was an option in the original Adeptus Titanicus.

Warlord hard points can use different guns and often did in days past, but nowadays 40k titans tend to sport aesthetically pleasing pairs of same carapace guns.

Infernoes aren't really seen on battle titans that often, but it's not unheard of. The latest big addition to the titan roster, the Warmaster, can have them in its armpits as close range firepower for example.

thanks all yeah this is more a build for cqb build that is meant to work with others and brawl with titans and just aoe burn troops i mean two Arioch claws with both having the twin mega bolters is good to deal with most lesser armor in its way or the hard point twin lass cannons also it will be Choas (kron but recent stolen like taken forge world where its built) so i want to know if it head battle cannon and tail saw are counted in place of other weapons or just add on to it cause chaos get more gak to f with imperials with. it's not a true Banelord but like a warlord build close to it in design. Also, the pilot is meant to be a demon ascended Yang Xiao Long (if that explains anything). So, I'm playing with the whole demonic controlled titan thing "of do they don't they have pilot" by treating it as demonic armor in a way she can pilot but not fused too kind of thing. and yes, if i build it the fists will be gold.

I'm basically trying to make character stuff in rules if anyone has pdf of the Titan rules in epic or other sources it helps, between this and trying to lean what all the ship stuff is it's a lot of searching with little to no pics or art with tings labeled

In the epic rules tails & head guns were just more options. Pay the extra pts, buy/make the bitz, attach to existing Titan body.

If you want to see the current rules for Titans just look them up in Battlescribe or Wahapedia.

What do you mean where?

Where as in the old epic rules? Sorry, my books for that are 20 years gone. Do a google search for a PDF. You're looking for rules from 1995 or earlier.
OR
Where for the current 40k rules? If you aren't familiar with Battlescribe or Wahpedia, do a google search.

It's pretty simple. You type either Battlescribe or Wahapedia into your search bar & hit enter..... Take the 1st result for either that pops up.

found them took 3 hours was on page 10 and 7 respectively. they helped some and yes warlords did get the inferno gun the apocalypse rule book is what had it tail weapons (more than the cannon now) and head cannons
are just pay exstar the ones i found are a 10 point each witch for a battle cannon and tal saw is not bad like +20 on top of 300 some points sure. and the inferno gun is same stats as the it is one scout titans so its not over strong but two of them point blank in melee could in theory brake void shields so on a traitor warlord nemesis/sudo banelord build it would be good lore fun build as Kronite warlord as they don't carry heavy long rang guns.

thanks, everyone for help wish i had a way to de pic the build in my head without breaking the bank. Again, thanks all.
