I've been mostly playing around with spares and bits for the Inquisitorial warband. I'm really enjoying the individuality of these guys.

Man I love your conversions! every single one is just so cool, and tells such a story about them, even a simple head swap seems to look better when you do it!

Awesome, old and new. I've got a copy of the old one somewhere... you make me want to break it out and paint it. Really love what you've done to the stock of the (new) gun with the blue... nice.

Thanks Gits ! Yeah go find the old lead and give it some love !

Little H and I have been busy hobby wise , my boy definitely has the attention span of a very small thing , Marines are out, AoS is in , so he has made up the boxed set he 'needed' ages ago and promptly forgot about !
Anyhow, we set to work in a division of labour way, he did all the details, scrolls, etc etc and I put down the big colours and glowey bits with the airbrush. The colours were chosen by Little H.
I think they look pretty smart all together , pretty damn nice for a 14 year old lad and a shortshighted forty something with a red wine dependancy !

Let's here some comments / critisisms people ! I have trouble motivating the young 'un !

Gryfhound for the win! I know it's strange out of all of that I pick the pet as my favorite part lol :-) he (she?) looks so cool with those colours. everything else is great too! i'm a fan of the dark metal with purple as a spot colour and a weeny bit o gold. quite a bit done for a short amount of time.

How are we supposed to give comment when it's just a non-stop pile of posts??

I think they look great in both the big colors and the fine detail. Work looks neat and well-imagined. They should look great on the table. Keep up the good work Little H!

Eastern edge

Very nice how the army all comes together using the color scheme, I did not that the leader on that beast , his cloak look like things did not align, or it had a gap, on the left shoulder. may want to double check it. Over all, he picked a decent good scheme.

"Your mumblings are awakening the sleeping Dragon, be wary when meddling the affairs of Dragons, for thou art tasty and go good with either ketchup or chocolate. "
Dragons fear nothing, if it acts up, we breath magic fire that turns them into marshmallow peeps. We leaguers only cry rivets!

Thanks guys !
Apologies for the pile of pics, for some reason I cannot upload more than one pic at a time from my iPhone or the pics all become duplicates of the first.
My own lack of camo is disturbing, but Little H got some Harlequins nearly finished, so work on the base and some static grass and they're done. I'm very proud of how he went about the diamonds , highlights etc by researching it on YouTube first. I think he is really coming on now for a 14 yr old.

Also sprayed up these "cavalry" for Little H to finish. In truth, I don't actually know what they are but he seems happy enough, I think I might add another highlight on the dark blue areas before I fully hand them over, thought Dakkanaughts ?

And, in the last post of the night, I promise. Little H has been driving me insane with insisting on using the cutting mat as a palette, even tho we have a perfectly good palette already. So he bought me a new mat and labelled it so we can work on modelling and painting at the same time

Ha. You know that the next time you use your new mat you will spill paint on it.

Nice job on the beasties. They look fine from here, but you are much closer.

Good job on the Harli's.

The "old" mat looks like my modelling board. While I tend to use old paint lids for paint mixing and thinning, I do also use my board for small quantities or mid-blend mixes.
But then I have a plywood board that's older than LittleH and not a posh cutting mat.

Thanks Doc ! Quite possibly I'll spill, but now I won't tell anyone
for years I had an old piece of hardboard and used the plastic clam shell packaging miniatures came in as a pallette, then one day (about 10 years ago at least, hes 22 now ) my eldest boy used the hardboard as a backstop for his air rifle and filled it with holes so I was "forced" to go on line and buy new stuff !

Can't really muster the enthusiasm to paint, but had a happy hour glueing some scum and trash together for my "to be completed" Inquisatorial warband, I've pretty much run out of interesting heads now so helmets will be the way forward !

Hey Dakkanaughts, apologises for lack of paint lately, terminally uninterested lately.
