Which one of you wished on a monkey's paw for a remake of an 80s film with Conor McGregor?

Wasn’t me!

Whilst I do watch and often enjoy crap films, I’ve never actually caused one to come into being.

A few years ago, I'm pretty sure they were trying to get a Ronda Rousey female-led remake of this movie.

Then they realized that Ronda :

1. Couldn't act for gak, even by pro-wrestling standards.
2. People realized that she's pretty unlikeable when they watched her coach The Ultimate Fighter.
3. Lost a lot of stock value after getting KO'd badly two fights in a row to end her MMA career.

Glad that remake never got off the ground.

This one looks fun, I suppose.

In regards to Mcgregor being in the flick, not really a fan of his much anymore, but its still good to see him in action. He suffered one of the worst injuries an athlete could get. Definitely roided out, which doesn't bode well for his supposed UFC return once he gets back into the drug testing pool. He's such a big PPV money draw though that I'm sure the UFC will make some "exceptions".

Oddly unneeded, but I'd give it a shot.

The first one was decent. This one looks interesting at best. I'll watch it if I can't sleep or if it's raining out and can't do much of anything else.

Christ, before we know it they'll also be remaking Total Recall and Footloose.

You joke, but enough time has passed for Hollywood to do another remake without feeling any sense of shame.......

Do you mean a remake OF the remake of Total Recall? Because they already remade it once. Supposedly closer to the original story than the Arnold movie, but I'm not sure about that.

I believe, perhaps, they were making a wry, humorous statement as both Footloose and Total Recall have remakes.

"HOW long?"

"Well, they've remade Clash of the Titans, Ghostbusters, Footloose, Total Recall and Road House. They're also on to the next Alien sequel. That's a one in a million chance there kiddo - they could have remade ALIENS in that time!"

OMG, this would have such potential.

Ah, whoops. I never knew they remade Footloose.

That's a Paul Verhoeven classic that should remain untouched.

This flick is getting decently reviewed from various outlets, oddly enough. Might give it a try in a few days(21st).
