Just finished the Exarch from the new plastic scorpion kit, all weapon options magnetised, but only had time to paint the biting blade so far.

Really happy with how this one turned out in the end!

Cheers,
Oskar

This looks excellent! The gems in particular are really well done.

I'm sorry, but you are too good and making the rest of us look bad.

The less saturated and more muted green is a great choice and highlighted to perfection.

Love the highlights, great work! Here's hoping GW will release a new Karandras for you to paint as well.

Thanks everyone, it was a long slow process with this one and massively appreciate the positive feedback! I really can't believe it is true (according to the internet rumours) that GW just forgot about updating Karandras, but I don't understand why they would deliberately hold him back when all the other Phoenix Lords are now revealed. Luckily I have a metal version of him lying around if needs must!

Thanks youwashock and Flapjack, very much appreciate your comments. The gems are probably very over the top for a sneaky hidden killer, but I cant resist gemmifying every bump on my eldars

This guy was the leader of a small killteam unit I entered into a new Scottish painting competition some weeks ago (The Highlander award) and made me win gold in the unit category!

Really striking colours, lovely work!
I have some scorpions on my painting station awaiting some love. If they come out half as good as yours I'll be happy!
