You have done an amazing job on that plane. The red looks really good. Did you use the new GW paints on this? I'm so tempted to pick up some of the Ork flyers for my Fiancee's ork army.. but since shes got loads to paint I'll just have to spend that money on stuff for me

THanks Regnak! -Except for the basecoat (Badger Crimson is the exact same as Mephiston Red) I pretty much used all new GW paints AND used the painting technique in this month's White Dwarf.

In all seriousness, I think it's the little things like "dem new teef and metl' plates" that make a model awesome. Keep it up!
I'm not completely sold on the harrier look yet, but I look forward to seeing what you do with it!

I think you should attempt an EE Lighning for your third bommer!!!

it can still scream lols... the only reason I suggested the Lightning was because the only problem I have with the Ork bommer kit is the lack of interchangable noses, I always liked the recessed snub nosed version

But it needs to be open, unless you are going to sculpt new intakes for the big jet engine.

Rounded, likr to a point? Well I guess I'd bend interlocking layers of thin PC to start with, for orky justs, just add rivets and it's believeable, for something needing to be smoother, you'd almost need to vacu-form over a master carving or something.

I've seen bigger jets with smaller intakes tbh... look at the F-22 and its sister aircraft.

I hadn't thought of interlocking sheets of PC... hmmm

Not with a single engine craft you haven't twin engines only need to do 1/2 the work.

well couldnt you do like vik and use the nose cone from a bottle rocket. not saying actual bottle rockets will work but the bigger rockets with the plastic nose cones just to shape maybe?

it has twin intakes for one engine, which don't look that dissimilar from the bommer tbh. and its wing intakes are proportionally the same as the Hawk it seems.

but thats just me lols, I guess everyone sees this kind of thing differently
