So, after a few hiccupses (sic) yesterday, I managed to finally upload my images to the gallery.

Hello friends!

Welcome to my thread of finished projects. I've been an avid collector, painter and all around modeler since I found the hobby back in 1990. I got introduced to it by none other than the MB Hero Quest, and then Space Crusade (the 40k aspect of it). Being a young lad, without too much pocket money (most of it were going to rpgs such as Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and Call of Cthulhu, back then), I did not actually started collecting Warhammer 40k stuff until well into my 20s, back in 2001.

Specifically, in 2003, a friend of mine managed to finally convince me to go to one of the hobby shops in Athens, Greece, and begin my 40k army. My choice was Chaos Space Marines, 3rd edition back then. One of the first models I picked up was Abaddon the Despoiler, and I never looked back.

A few months ago, I managed to finally finish the entire army, including basing and varnishing. An army that has a lot of fluffy stuff, individually painted miniatures, bikers modelled as riders of the apocalypse, led by the devil, and stuff like that. A lot of old (metal) miniatures as well (none of that failcast stuff). A very few Forge World upgrades, some greenstuff sculpted things, and A LOT of love.

So, without further ado, 'All Hope Abandon, ye who enter here'.

Following the huge success of my original post, here are some pictures of my finished Genestealer Cults Coven Limousine.

The model is from Wargames Exclusive (named 'Genetic Cult Limo' on their website for obvious trademark reasons), and it was extremely fun to paint.

The model is amazing (it is a resin 3d print but with a very good quality resin), it comes in seven parts (three parts for the main body and 4 optional parts to have the car either as hover or tracked), it is very intuitive to paint and not unnecessarily complex.

The colours on the side, on the crest, are the banner of the Cult of the Four-Armed Emperor (one of the main cults) and the 'fins' at the back of the car are painted in the colours of my purestrain genestealers carapace (classic Space Hulk dark blues colours).

Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

Nice ride WBRBloom.

And a good sized painted army to boot. Always nice to see a victory against the armies a grey plastic.

Cheers,

CB
