I like the battle damage, but there's not much else to see so far...

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

I like em, especially the plasma gunner.

The heavy weapon teams look good too, as does all the forgeworld stuff.

However, the faces could do with being painted  ink washed or highlighted to pick out detail better

Nice job! I like your veriety of conversions/poses too! Glad to see a HW team that dosn't look like every other one.

I dig the tiles peeking through the rubble on some of the lads' bases, and the heavy weapon scrap/rubble baricades are very nice. Good stuff overall, keep it up!

That a bash...or sarcasm or what? And as for how he got the glow, it looks to me that he drybrushed the color he used for the vents onto the fig itself. A nice touch.

yes, the glow was with increasingly brighter blue, and for the light on the model it s just a little less bright the further from the gun, on spots it'd hit. very easy to do if you get the natural spots on the model

Just edit posts instead of making new ones--confusing a bit. Nice work so far.

Been a little while since ive posted, been busy with work and not found alot of time to relax....

anyways, heres some quickly takin shots of some of my new guardsmen! Made use of some heads from other kits, as well as some brass peices from an old school boat model kit. When painted they'll be made to look like statues. Also have a lascannon team using a tanktrap for defense. Enjoy!
