Hi all.

I've just started another Adeptus Arbites project:

I would really appreciate feedback and suggestions (colours, additional gear, unit name, stats, points cost etc.).

Nice work Kendoka. I like modernisation you've done on the dinos. It would be cool if a couple had fully closed mouths though. I'd pick a colour scheme that reminds the viewer of the storm troopers on dewback, since that must be your inspiration for the conversion (they're just such a good homage to the dewbackers!).

>storm troopers on dewback

Yeah, I get your point.
Although not intended at first (the idea came from an AA background story by Robey Jenkins) I too saw the resemblance and then couldn't resist giving one of them (the one with the gun at the hip) a really StarWars-ish pose. Glad somebody noticed.

>...fully closed mouths...

Great idea (if somewhat tricksy). May modify one.

Nice work, deffinatly different. IMO the very bottom one looks akward in his saddle though.

The one thing I love the most about Dakka? Being able to be a part of others' creative endevours!

Beautiful project.  I have been to your site off and on and have been VERY impressed with all of it.  Fluff, models, paint jobs, etc.  I will say that the CScouts look very sweet and I'm afraid to ask which body part you sold to get all of those Carnosaurs.  :S

I love the carnosaur coloring. I just can't imagine the price to construct this!

Very nice. They'll find those droids yet! Sorry, I couldn't help jumping on the star wars resemblance. That's what I first thought of as well when I saw them. I hate to post a suggestion to someone with such skill, but I'll go anyways. I think the dragon's helmet could use a squad marking or something, but they all look awesome as is so feel free to ignore this.

I still believe the very bottom one looks akward.

I thought so too at first, but I think if we had another angle it would make it better. kendoka can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the guy is supposed to be standing in the stirrups to fire while his mount is at a full gallop. It looks like kendoka is into martial arts so he probably got the idea from feudal samurai. They would fire their bows in the same way (standing in the stirrups gripping the horse with their legs). Of course, I'm just guessing!

Glaive Company CO, Infantryman:
You are both correct. a) he looks kinda akward b) he is supposed to stand while taking his aim.
I'll have a go at adjusting the pose.
