Nope. Didn't mind the more 'organic' lightwalls, etc. etc.
No, the only thing that got me was trying to materialize an entire army in the sub-basement room under Flynn's Arcade.

I'm sorry, was that not clear from the Lightcycles and owning my own arcade cabinet? If not, my living room is also dominated by sci-fi models and movie posters, and various ephemera from movies and TV shows, OH AND I PLAY SCI-FI AND FANTASY TABLETOP WARGAMING. Did I mention the model railroading? I'm sure I did.

lols. that'd some time... haven't been back since 2001. No chance any time soon either... just can't afford it. Although, I haven't done east cost before so would be interesting ^_^
I love these bases, they are so worth the money imo! As for the rubber, I hate it when models slide about on gaming boards and it was the only thing I could think of to do.
Tron: Legacy is simply beautiful to watch. I have nothing but admiration for it as a film and as a piece of prop genius. The lightsuits actually lit up, plus a vast majority of the sets were built as opposed to green-screens which is the norm these days. It was a return to cinematic form imo.
Plus its plot is a fantastic addition to the Tron mythos, and sets up for a trilogy.
Tron is my childhood, along with the original star wars trillogy and never ending story. there is just some films, that even though they look dated, will never be out of fashion in my eyes.
"geek" and "nerd" were labels given by Stupid people afraid of what they did not understand. I don't know which generation started it, but I'm glad we can end it now. I am proud to be a geek!

Same... When I used to go to the shop (by shop I mean my local GW), the local populace of village idiots walk by shouting Geek... it amused me so much that the next time it happened I shouted "Human" back at them... it confused them to say the least and they tripped over a curb
my wife sews a lot of stuff... from home furnioture like curtains or her own trousers and dresses.... now imagine going shopping or for that matter visit a museum... she once looks at the curtains there and for the seams on them... the more you know about a thing the more it changes your perception about concerning stuff...
Indeed, the way I look at things is completely at odds with the perceived "norm", it amuses me tbh. But yeah, I can't help but try and do things differently because of it as well. Hence the no eyed Nid's and the forelimbs on the Tervigon's.
you know the so called guass curve? a population needs those left and right winger mutations in their genepool to better react to new and possibly hazardous developments in their habitat...
Didn't know the name, but I'm aware of the social interactions like those. I don't do large crowds of people, I avoid them like the plague, but I like to watch how people move and interact with each other. Tis not only entertaining, but a learning curve
