Heres my tzeentch deamon prince that i am making. I used the LOC wings which are alittle bigger than the pegasus' although if your using the gw deamon prince model they will prabably be to small still.

so here he is in all his unfinished glory

On this page download the 'Citadel bitz catalogue'

Unless im very much mistaken Lord of change wings are one of the few bits still available, I think they cost about £8.

Please don't compromise this project, it is looking really great so far!

Thx guys

ive seen you can still order the wings seperatly, so i might do that.

the robes on the rubrics are a layer of white, followed by a mix of skull white and a tiny bit of regal blue(its actually the light blue colour you can see on the robes), and then finish it by layering the robe till it gets the nice white colour(just water down the white and youll be fine)

and the Sorcerer is actually the same, only the signs are washed with the new blue wash, and then the details were picked out after that with skull white.

so here is the dreadnought, all ready to be painted
pretty simple, i just heightened the legs and gave the arms a more dynamic look. im not sure if i will keep the horror arm.

The horror arm is a cool concept but seems out of place on a somewhat "clean" looking dread.

Hmmm... while the horror arm sticking out of the exhaust pipe is quite funny, I third that it looks out of place.

yea now that i see the picture, it doesnt look very cool.

A banner is a great idea. My suggestion is to put tzeentchy bird heads on the cross bar holding it up.

Not too far from my stomping grounds ... :S

Dig the white robed rubrics, and the new AS is impressive already. On the dread, I think I like the horror arm better than I like the extended ankles. Or more specifically, I like the random horror arm and I don't like the ankles. Just look so thin. Though I understand why you lengthened them - when I was building my second AL dread last week I was a little non-plussed at how the legs sit right on the feet, almost no gap after nipping the tag off the ankles.

Exquisite craftsmanship on display here.
I guess I'm in a very small minority that actually kind of liked the arm trying to climb out of the exhaust pipe -- though I see why you took it out.
Looking forward to seeing more.

The runic symbols on the marines and the detail on the sorcerer is fantastic.

Yes it's simple,
but highly effective.
I'm really glad you didn't go overboard because it would have cluttered the paint job.

This whole project is coming out very well,
Always looking for more updates on this one,
Especially which colours your going to use on the daemon prince.

man i really digg the more artistic style to the way you are painting these thousand sons . In fact they gave me the inspiration to finally finish painting my friends possessed marines that i was doing as a favor to him and since he has quite a tzeentchy army to start with i think these will be perfect as apposed to painting them similar to the box art.

Soo im in the US right now
ive been in a Games Workshop in Baltimore last week

Ah Develain,
In Australia it's even more expensive.

We do web orders from the US (and UK) and it feels wrong to be buying new stuff for that price.

Can't wait to see more stuff.

So, you have a horror army lying around that you no longer want sticking out of his exhaust.
I understand that. I agree.

I noticed that there's also a hole in the "stone" of his base. Why not have the arm sticking out of that?
