Reaper minis are kinda meh most of the time. Especially their female ones, which are quite frankly stupid looking half the time, and obviously created on the idea of "sex sells" rather than in order to give any respect to the miniature.

I'd cast blame at the customers not the producers. Reaper has a goodly number of fully-clothed, practically dressed women and I'm sure they keep track of sales of them vs bimbos in chainmail bikinis.
'Sex sells' alas is not a myth.
