I had my account hacked as well... which is funny because I hadn't played in several months. To make things even better, The hacker put an authenticator on my account. First I knew of it? When Blizzard sent me an e-mail telling me my account was frozen due to "selling ingame (stuff) for real money". No Keylogger, no phishing, the only place they could have gotten my info was through Blizzard.
Tin hat that one.

the 6 dollars is at cost with shipping.

So the tin foil hat argument that they let hackers get away with it to sell authenticators is false.

Your trying to tell me that a company will sell something for exactly what THEY paid for it just because its the right thing to do? You need to remove innocent goggles buddy. Im not saying it cost them 5 cents to make so its all profit, but Im sure it cost half ish. so lets say $3 per unit of profit? Thats still alot of cashola man.

Im saying its totally plausible to say they are probably taking a few bucks to allow these types a little more leeway then they should. And yea the account password change system is a serious joke. Im not bashing WoW or Blizz, because Im very happy with the game and the support they have is pretty top notch. BUT Ive had my password changed TWICE without my consent. All I get in my email is a HEY someone changed your password, if it wasnt you, then enjoy loosing everything youve worked on getting for 2 weeks lol

BTW buy our authenticator. It stops that stuff from......you know.....happening?

ull find that people (mostly vanilla players (played from 1st release)) will run "old school" raids for nostalgia, so thts why they are kept in

In addition, raids are in general more interesting than regular dungeons. While I admit that Blizz is really pushing for bosses that require strategy (Wrath has very few bosses that are 'simple' enough to just tank & spank) the raids, even old ones, are where they shine. I admit I haven't done much in terms of old-school raiding (I've done some Burning Crusade ones) but the Twins fight in AQ40 is brilliant - and completely irritating if the group doesn't know what they're doing.

I havnt done a raid yet. I really want too, but I know Ill piss a few people off the first few tries, again since Ive never done them. I have to tell people in the dungeon groups to keep me in the loop, because I dont do them from sun up to sun down. So basically I get to follow someone util they say ok tank attack them lol

All i can suggest for this is find a guild who casually raids, and go a DPS spec (if possible) to get used to the raid itself, i can almost guarantee you will not get into a raid group if ur tanking/healing and say you dont know the raid.

Also, ask the raid leader if you can roll on tank/healing gear, even tho you are a DPS spec as you want to tank the raid in the future.

Thats my advice anyway, can't say it works from experience as Iv always used a DPS spec and dont plan on tanking/healing with my only lvl 80 atm lol.

No Im in a pretty good guild with my brother inlaw. They have about elevendy billion 80s and are all pretty cool. And I told them when Im up there, they have to teach me the art and crafts of raiding! So I know Ill be taught, because they raid ALL THE TIME and usually crush them. So Im being taught by the best.

On a side note, I still love the Leeroy video, its so friggin funny

I hate the Alliance side. Not my cup o tea, the people that play them seem to get on my nerves for some reason. But making a tank gnome (or bogo soon) just looks hilarious to me. They are like walking floor safes

Shivan.... you use the 2-handed sword? The power attacks with it are an uppercut...... from gnome level its riotuosly funny.

She was more of a fun pvp character later on before i quit...

She actually duel wielded two two-handed axes.....

Nothing more hillarious then a little whirlwhind of death charging a tauren and watching it fall over.

My gnome was a fury warrior, I never went protection with her.

Instead, my tank was a female dwarf paladin, she was funny.

The concept of the tank fighting something that could easily swallow them whole is pretty lolable, E.g Dwarf/Gnome(Soon Goblins) tanking Onyxia.

However as funny that is id never be tanking any raid as i suck at it

Tell me about it...
Back when Naxx was big I used to run a Gnome Death Knight tank and did OS.
Gigantic dragon of terror vs. 3 foot armored gnome.

I watched a PVP of an 80 fury gnome and I couldnt help laughing it was just hilarious. The guy won too so that just added to it. But just looking at them you cant help it. Again, walking floor safe
