A hydra can potentially plough throu the unit in 12 combat phases, with its buckedloads of attack and thunderstomp + breath. And i believe it will be hard to win through static against it too.

i calculated it up once.
the Hydra can put out a wopping 17 attacks and potentially more in a CC phase. this doesn't include the handlers.
there is also the Terror and fear tests the skaven must face each turn. even Ld10 can fail.
