Dwarf cannon with rune of forging – 125 pts. Statistically the cannon should get at least two shots untill it's reached and that should be enough to go trough the ward.

Hmm, but going with Ogres, if we're going with a single unit vs. the Temple Guard. And a stupid one at that!
Tyrant with Trickster's Helm, Mawseeker, Wyrdstone Necklace, Heavy Armour, Longsword and Luck Gnobbie.
BSB with Banner of Disipline and Great Weapon
Slaughtermaster with Halfling Cook Book and Crown of Command.
One Maneater with Great Weapon.
Drops in at 830p, deployed in a single file with the tyrant in the head. He's pretty much unkillable with the current resources and is stubborn ld10 with re-roll.
