I agree with the grog.... And that was my point and reason for this thread...
Problem is that with my list (I don't have heavy-D nor wraiths) I have zero chance of countering him efficiently... Rest of his list is dangerous to crons too...
I had a chance of witnessing him play (we are small community and our league is based on 18 players, of which 9 play different types of space marines)... His list isn't so good against other armies, but is bane to me... He goes with 2
LR (standard and redeemer) transporting
TH/
SS termies and death company, 2 rhinos with 10 marines (not assault) and mephiston...
Let me rephrase the thread (since it doesn't have point anymore really)...
So what I play with crons is nightbringer and footy rez orb lord, 8 destroyers, 20 warriors and 2 liths... It's 1750 pts cap... So in frontal clash I have no chance of winning... But I was thinking of deception... My opponent isn't too good general, so I may have upper hand in making him do mistakes...
I was thinking separating my forces, since he has zero firepower (he combat squads marines and has one plasma cannon and one missile launcher)... Warriors go to reserves against him (so that I can choose where to come from once they come)... I thought putting each monolith on different edge of the table, and destroyers on the middle... That way I can run away if he decides to go middle towards one of my liths and continue running (he can't catch me with mephiston) or if he decides to go for one of my liths, I'll retreat with my destroyers on other side... I think nightbringer will go to reserves too, so that he can assault anything out of the land raiders when he comes out (since he will be on my table edge probably:p)...
Still not the best plan, but just might keep me alive... Also, at the end of the game, I can turboboost and contest his objectives (luckily 4 destroyers are nice for charging 5 standard marines and staying alive

) since he will be too slow to get back on his table side...
