Just remember, if someone has a sword, it's actually phallic imagery. If someone stabs a vampire through the chest with a stake, it's phallic. Someone has a large weapon? Phallic. Am I the only one that thinks that this sort of thinking is ridiculous.
I wonder more about people who see imaginary penises in everything than the designers who put big weapons on space marines.
In the case of Space Marines, who are GW's flagship and most marketed iconic figure, an image that presents an incredibly masculine image (which can easily be sold to imasculated teenagers), yes, imaginary penises are everywhere.
Sex sells, and it's not nearly as overt as you think it is.
