You can't in most PC games either, unless they have a lean function, which is usually also present in the console version, so that reasoning makes little sense.

No, the sole and only reason they're only releasing it on the 360 is because they cannot control the PC gaming market, but they have an absolute iron fist control over the 360 gaming market and therefor they do not make as much money, which makes them rather pissy. So they make it a 360 exclusive so that if you want to play it you have to buy a second microsoft gaming computer.

Eh, Black Ops had the lean function in the PC version while the Console version didn't. Or was that MW2? It was some CoD game recently, they're all about the same.

PC is superior in every aspect, except maybe for race games and football. Bu again you have wheel to buy to compensate for that, and you have joysticks for PC.
The real useful part of XBOX and PS is that you can carry him wherever you want. PC...not so much.

FPSs used to be more popular on PC; times have changed. More people bought Modern Warfare 2 for the 360 and PS3 than the PC. Halo has outsold pretty much every PC FPS.

Halo Reach was the third biggest selling game of 2010, on the sales on one format alone. Black Ops was first, but from the combined sales of all formats, Madden being second also on combined sales.

Call of duty is undoubtably bigger due to consoles sales, where Ahtman clarified PC sales.

Because of your cough I think you got cut off before finishing your statement about how the console versions have sold more copies than the PC versions. When the first game launched on PC only that wasn't true, but to come up to today if you add the total number of PC units moved to the total number of Console unit's moved the console version has larger sales numbers. The 360 versions of MW, MW2, and Black Ops probably outsold PS3 and PC combined. Modern Warfare 2 sold slightly under 8 million units, the PS3 did roughly 5 million. The PC version at best is slightly below the PS3 level, which still puts it short of being the better selling version.

Sales by platform

Here is a list of the top selling games by platform and numbers. As you can see no Call of Duty game even makes the top 10 of PC games, with the #10 spot going to SimCity 3000 selling 5 million units. If it didn't even sell 5 million units then the original Halo still outsold it as it sold 8 million units.

This isn't about which is better, PC or Console, this is about numbers. The consoles have overtaken the PC in terms of not only FPS but just about everything. I say this as an ardent PC gamer. The numbers just don't add up to FPS being more popular on PC.

PC sucks 360 owns.....That is all I have to say on the matter

When did high end pc's get cheaper then a console? Say you get a middle class pc (1000 euro's) A console would go for 300(decked out these days) That gives you 700 bucks for games. Which, not counting old, resold, and rented games, comes down to 11,5 brand new games. Then theres the need to upgrade pc's for new games, where as the consoles chug along for at least 5 years (and more this generation) without anything to upgrade on the hardware.

That said, PC FPS is more accurate. Console fps feels more natural. (IMO)

Though I never wanna play Ut2k4 on a console, that would be crap xD

I own both, so I don't care though. I get most games on xbox purely for achievements Though battlefield stays on mah pc.

I have a gaming PC, I've built several over the years.

But most of the time, after spending all day at work in front of a PC, and a ton of time at home working on art in front of a PC, I don't really want to be in front of a PC when I'm playing games.

I'll play RTS on PC, but everything else I prefer on console now. I'll get BF3 on PC, but only because I have a friend that is very insistent that I do so.

The only reason I rejected the xbox series is because, as I said, I already have one microsoft gaming computer. I don't need a second one. Somehow that statement turned into a pc vs console argument.

The lack of a gun and pain kills the realistic side of any FPS game.

The only time I think a mouse+kb is really superior in a shooter is an arena shooter, like quake or unreal tournament. In those games you really need to be able to flip your view around like crazy, and doing rocket jumps would be hard without the high sensitivity of a mouse.

Current shooters usually place more of a importance on stopping, aiming, etc, or players just don't move as fast as they did in things like quake, etc. When you move into these games, I think the controller is closer to parity with kb+mouse, especially when a game has well designed controls with a controller in mind; especially in games where you scope in on targets.

However, NEITHER is realistic, lol.

1) When I saw the evidence I see that there is nothing to argue. PC beat every console individually, but together all consoles beat PC ( XBOX 360 and PS3 ). Still, PC offers superior graphics and there is just no replenishment for mouse when it comes to FPR and those seconds you need to react and nothing can relapse keyboard when it comes to RPG like Oblivion and all those command you can use.

You think of me immature because I didn't reply immediately and because I stated piracy. I said PC gaming is more popular, because how many people play WoW? Starcraft? Sims?

2) As for "you really don't even buy the vast majority of the games you own for it", when I try to buy a game from internet they say to me: "shipment is not possible in your country" for every other site it was the same thing. I then tried EU, Asia and I get the same answer. Even our main game distribute can't get the collectors editions and can barely even get ordinary pack. And when I order game from them, it took it 23 days to get here, only to pay again because they only take money fro your hands. It was worth it in the end dougn, but it is much easier to simple download and - you know.

3) As for piracy, my mother work in the Ministry of Internal affairs ( passports, personal ID etc... ). It's the government firm, and they use cracked Windows XP. They always argue why is their systems fall one time per week, and they don't realize that their systems are cracked and because of that week to comprehend tons of data they process every day. Not to mention the program don't upgrade, it's full of mistakes etc... When I ask her why don't they buy Windows 7 or simply install Linux, she said to me that their bosses don't care. That even our government ( Ministries, Heads of the State ) are also using pirated Windows XP. With logic " why pay so much money when we can get it for free", almost 90% of all software in police, military, government is pirated. They are now starting to buy legal software, but the process is slow and it will take years to replace all of pirated software in our government.

When our government is doing that, you can imagine the rate inside the population. Things are improving in the last few years, but very slow because our people have same ideals. I am trying to improve dough. Buying more originals now, but even I sometimes want to play a game that i can't get my hands on.

4) If you are a PC fan then why support consoles? And I said that if combined every console they win. If we compare them on pair, only mobile phones have more sales than PC games.

5) AS for my statement "Consoles are for those who have money to spent, I don't." PS3 is 450 EUR here, XBOX is 300EUR, average XBOX game is 60-120EUR, average PC game is 40-90EUR, average PC is 350EUR, average PS3 game is 80-140EUR and average salary is 300EUR ( in fact average salary here goes from 240-280EUR ). Of that 300EUR, 150EUR goes to bills, So that makes 150EUR to eat, go around town, buy close, pay for studding, go to someone etc... So do all that or buy one PC or XBOX game. Logic is clear.

I already go off topic like miss the road totally. Just wanted to make few things straight. And sorry if I have insulted you somewhere...

You can come up with all the excuses in the world for piracy you want but it doesn't change the fact that you do it because apparently you feel that you being able to play video games is something you are entitled to. You want it and that is enough of an excuse for you to just take it. If you can't afford something that is how it goes. You either save up or you get a better job. By definition everyone that plays a game is a gamer, so your mom is a gamer to. People like you and me are professional games. For played at least 100 games in our life.
I only mentioned individual title and that is CoD, because it is the most selling game of all time. It's not matter if it was sold on PC or XBOX.

Not true, I have Nvidia 9600 GSO 512MB ( card is 40 EUR now here ) and I played Crysis 2 on MAX without bugging a little.
It is only a matter of making setting right.

You don't need to buy a graphic card of 500EUR just to play newest game, or to be the "main" man in the neighborhood. You can do that with graphic of 120EUR.
