E3 isn't about showing the internet using hardcore gamers what's going on.

It's a place to show the media and the general public, period, what is planned.

Holy battlefield 3

Any thoughts on Overstrike? I know all we got was a cinematic but it seems fun if it holds to that kind of thinking.
I'm a few minutes behind everyone else it seems.

BF3 is insane...

BF3 is just gonna dominate this year, it looks much better then MW3 (IMHO) and battlefield has always won for me in gameplay. Offcourse, it's gonna be hard to snatch all the MW fans away, but if anyone seems capable of it, its BF3. Can't wait!

Rayman looks great...
Artistic design is all shiny and prettiful.
The Tetris in lava was badass as well.

No. We can hope, but there have been no official announcements or anything about Battlefront 3. Has anyone even heard rumors of this?

WII U looks awefull, the graphics demo was worse then what my pc deliverd years ago. Nintendo has failed once again.

E3 is targeted at the press, not the customers.

I thought the Wii U looked kinda cool actually. Reminds me of the short-lived GBA system link they used for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles which, while expensive, was a really fun game when you could find enough friends with the right equipment. I'm interested to see how it turns out, but if it's as expensive as I fear it'll be I'll probably not be getting one. If it looks like a good deal, I may finally take the plunge and get a new Nintendo console for it.

The only thing about the Wii U that makes me happy is the fact it has hardware to support good 3rd party games now, although from what I've heard the hardware is almost the same as the 360... so unless that controller is just AMAZING, I have no reason to get this new wii console.

Also, 360 controllers are already $60... how much is this monster going to be?

Correct and the press would like to report on things their audience cares about. Not a bunch of shovel ware. Thanks for proving my point. No one's mom is watching the E3 press coverage to find out if they should save some cash for Kinect Sesame Street for their kid which also doesn't care and simply buys based on friends, seeing it in stores, or tv commercials.

Blizzard does not attend E3 to show stuff off. The have Blizzcon for that. So the best you get are trailers or webpage updates they release on or before E3 to remind you about their games since the press won't be seeing them at the E3 show and will be reporting on everything but Blizzard games.

Probably less than 60$. The 60$ controllers on the 360 are to make up for the razorblade model, not because the controllers actually cost that much to make.
