This looks like it will be my last 5th edition tournament. On this continent that is.

Beer - There is a place in the mall that serves beer. But remember it is a Mall so drinking on the game floor should prob be avoided - in-between at the Mexican place? Well that's left up to you!

GW has taken the FAQ section down. Any ideas how we can get copies before the event.

We will NOT be using the Terrain as part of your force organization chart for this event.

Registration is at 5:30 pm and the tournament will begin at 6:00 pm SHARP and will be over by 9:30 pm

This event is meant to be a laid back and learning event so come out and have some fun!

So much 40k already in the weekend...I don't think I can handle it but good on y'all for making it available. Definitely looking forward to next weekend.

The 6th Ed FAQ's are just the 5th ed FAQ's with a few things added for 6th. They should help for most of the basic things.

I was wondering, would anybody would like to have a dakka meet and greet? Maybe after games on Sat or Fri before hand. I would love to put some names and faces with some names and avatars as I'm sure others would as well.

I gave up. I talked to one of the guys from "The Foundry" team and am trying to get something going at some point. But I wouldnt mind going out to eat with pretty much anybody. I dont vacation to go to bed early in a hotel room.

Billiards club, Humidor Cigars Pool (which I suck at)

I like the look of this place, and it doesnt seem like the kind of place you run into your unsavory bar types.

Nah, worst folks you run into there are the Local University Yuppies. Nothing too bad.

They also (I haven't been in a few weeks) have a Bourbon Barrel Stout on tap, as well as Guiness. Nothing pairs with a good cigar like a pint of Buourbon Barrel Stout!

Or Guinness. I have some painting and converting to do still, leave tomorrow morning, and final exams tonight, but you best believe im going to visit the local pub for celebration.

And as a uni yuppie, Im ok with that. I will definitely plan on going friday and perhaps saturday.
