LDP, you paint amazingly fast and at a very good level, so I will echo what the others are saying and emphasize the need for you to take a bit of time and get rid of the mold lines. I use a slightly dulled exacto blade #11. I know some people like to use the back of the blade as it is already dull. I keep large quantities of the blades in my drawer (including dull and broken ones that date back thousands of years to the second founding) for different modelling situations. Also the bolters need to be drilled. Your painting skills are great! Keep it up!

Wow your army is building up quick. You should post a shot of all the models you've painted up so far. Also another shot of a modeling knife (to remove the mold lines) and a hobby drill (to drill out your gun barrels) just so the rest of us don't have to keep nagging

Yes of course.

NOTE ON THE GK TERMINATOR REINFORCEMENTS:
My models came with NO BASES...Which annoyed me immensely, it took the termies about two weeks to come, and now I have to get bases for them too!
Ugh..

Sorry, but it had to be sniggered at!

Hello, Lips Firstly, some very nice work on your Grey Knights, very nice indeed. The test pieces looked more golden than silver in your photos, so I was mildly bemused. I think it must have been the lighting though.

The latest freehand is very impressive, how did you keep things so neat? I need to get to work on my Chapter symbols so tips would be appreciated.

I think the reason you're getting hammered about the mouldlines is a strange one - your painting is top notch, thus the mouldlines are getting you a lot more grief than other, less capable painters. Does that makes sense?

For example, your Apothecary is fragging cool as cool. Unfortunately, his Thunder Hammer 'head' has some bad mould line abuse on the the tops. Therefore, you get flak for it. If I were to grade your painting right now it would be 8 out of 10, but if you took the time to remove the mould lines from everything we are talking at least 9 out of 10. I use needle files and a sharp scalpel blade for my mouldlines, and admittedly it takes a while to get them done but the finished result is much more satisfying.

You are doing great work and you are being a gentleman as always - I'm sure this force will continue to improve with the feedback you are getting.

P.S. I would like a tutorial on those power swords too

Right, cheers for the feeback matey!
I've tried getting rid of the mold lines on my most recent GKSS who are now PRIMED (I did OKAYYY, probably could be a little better, but i'm making progress). When I freehand I just use as small a brush I can find, HOLD MY BREATH, and paint away. Yes! That's my secret, I hold my breath when I paint small stuff. I'll do a PW tutorial soon too ;P
