I need advise, what's the importance of following your countries missions? Cause with Holland, I often start with the one where you have to build your max army. However, all this really does right at the start, is cost money you don't actually want to spend.

I would try my luck with Brandenburg to fill the gap between the players (german cant live without two-front wars probably)

Funnily not only Norway and Holland start the game in a Union UNDER another nation, but even Brandenburg.

Oh, I started colonization in 1432 yesterday with Holland, I wonder if I should be proud of that. I already have Madeira, the canaries, cape verde and azures, also annexed friesland, things seem to be going well with my plans

I don't have steam and we'll be playing via hamachi, hence will need msns.

Tried it, how the hell do you get troops to board ships?

You need cogs/flytes and the ships need to be out of port in the adjacent area of sea.
You need 1 cog/flyte for each regiment.
12 regiments need 12 cogs/flytes.
After that just select the troops and click on the ships.
