Ever since I found out about them, i had always wanted a Warp hunter and Night spinner for my eldar. I had them in progress using the VDR back in 3rd when I left the game. Coming back to find the Nightspinner in plastic and the warp hunter at forgeworld, heck yeah! I am a skimmer freak, so put me down for a plastic warp hunter or two and a squadron of hornets. I'll throw shadow spectres on my wishlist as well as corsairs, they look like fun.

I also would not deny the dark ones a chance to expand their model range so add in the reaper and tantalas.

I don't play nids, but I also can't say I'd be sorry to see more big bugs in plastic.

I love the fact that the Warp hunter, Tantalas and Reaper all have 40K rules not just for Apoc as some FW units are. hence my love for the big floating balls of goo that are the Malanthropes ^_^

While you're at it, we may as well ask GW to make Emperor Titans... especially if they made a "titans of note" sprue that included the necessary bits to make Dies Irae (and obviously a loyalist version)

I want GE to skip the FW route entirely and offer a plastic Knight for Imperial Forces to go up against Ork Stompas.

Sell it with two sets of each arm, so you can pick which pattern you want to field and just plug them in.

I honestly don't want any more huge models that just sit around like a brick at the edge of the table, FW or otherwise.

Knights are smaller than stompas but can deal with them effectively if porperly loaded out.

@Ensis, I think yhat if they did an warlord than an emperor/emperator could be a seperate conversion kit as the are basically the same chassis with mainly aesthetic differences. Weapons and such, except isn't there a version of the warlord that can deploy dreadnaughts from its legs?

The Emperor class can house a company of Guard (100 troops) IIRC

Emperor class is the largest class of Titan, with two variants: The Imperator & The Warmonger. Both can house a company of Guard.

Oh wow, those knights look awesome. Why the hell haven't FW made any of them?
I mean, they already have warhounds, what's stopping them from making a variant that's even smaller.

Well I think if they continue the pre-heresy variant route then they will. but, coming from a current timeline point of view, they are incedibly rare, most being relics of an age where the adeptus can no longer afford the time to maintain them as battle ready.

Well, that's backward. Shouldn't the smallest and cheapest variant be more numerous and widespread than the larger variants?

If you read the link, they were built on feudal worlds, during the age of strife... when taken back into the imperial fold, the tech priests that would have overseen their being built, will have been taken back into the mechanicus, plus a lot would have been lost in the great crusade due to the fighting.

Oh and as a side note, I just worked out the hight of an emperor class titan in 40k. 77.7inches.

going on the image supplied in its data sheet, it is 55 times the size of the infantry figure, and as a SM is 38mm tall, that gives 1976mm = 77.7inch and change... I was considering building one... but I don't have that kind of space

IIRC they brought the information to build them, not pre constructed ones. But the Crusades still put paid to the vast majority of them, leading to a rapid decline in their use and more reverence for them. hence why we almost never hear of them in the fluff.

As I say though, if they continue with their Pre-heresy/great-crusade range of models, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Knight-Titan made tbh.

I'd be buying one, thats for certain!

They are smaller than Stompas, but larger than Dreadnights. Think of them as being about 8-9 inches tall. On a paladin, one arm is in majority, a battle-cannon the scale of a Leman Russ', and the other is a titan close-combat weapon, I think with a twin-linked heavy bolter under-slung (think giant chainsword)

Basically imagine their head being about the same size as a Sentinel cockpit pod. So the rest of the body would be scaled accordingly.

I would hate for DKOK to come out in plastic. It would just mean that every single guard player would collect them, and it would ruin special feeling you get when you collect a DKOK army.

Similar for Elysians. Plus, I just hate the models.

Warhound seems OK.

But the best plastics that GW could do are do all generic HQs in plastic. Vostroyans and Steel Legion would be amazing, and probably would make me start an IG army. Finish off dreadnoughts. And for the love of god, at least aim to offer EVERY SINGLE MODEL IN EVERY CODEX. SERIOUSLY.

That's accurate, however, that's real scale scaled to the mini. In 40k scale, where whether or not it ACTUALLY holds the number of models it's supposed to is apparantly immaterial, they wouldn't be that big. The Warhound titan comes in at 10-11 inches, as built by FW. The Emperator is roughly four to four and a half times that height making it roughly 40-45 inches....

That's 40k scale. You should check out the Blackadders BoLS Warlord Titan thread for a more detailed discussion on Warlord size. Basically they have brought it down to 24 inches for a warlord, 2.5 times a warhound. An Emperor/Emperator class wouldn't stand 6.5 feet, more along the lines of four, maybe 4.5 depending upon how the Fortress on top is built....
