Oh also, I'd like to see the Tyranid warrior wings make it into the warrior box sets... or for them to make shrike models... either way I'd be happy.

As awesome as it would be I don't think they'll ever do titans or thunderhawks in plastic.
A kit for the Macharius superheavies similar to the shadowsword kit (1 chaises that can be built as like 6 different tanks with the main difference simply being the turrent used) would be awesome though.

The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

GW owns Forgeworld and always has. They just don't want to remake FW kits very often because it doesn't promote sales as much. If GW came out with a plastic Tau fighter that wasn't the Barracuda or what have you, then they'll still be able to sell Forgeworld's kit in addition to their own. If they made a plastic Barracuda, then nobody would by the FW one anymore. Just an example.

when GW has made a plastic variant of a FW model, generally they have either adapted the FW stuff, or taken it off of production. that way they don't have crontradicting products.

I wonder if that might happen, the tau, oh crap...I forgot its name, oh yea the tau piranha made the cross. The Hornet would be an easy plastic kit.

Hello GW
Give us plastic crack, shaped like Eldar hornets!

IIRC, GW said they wouldn't be pilfering units from FW anymore. This was some time after the Tyranid codex.

The "Forge World" you see today is not the same "Forge World" which operated under license at the same time as Armorcast.

That Forge World is long since gone. This Forge World is directly under the control of Games Workshop, much like Black Library.

That's part of my point. Now they only have one kit to sell as opposed to two. Less kits can often mean less profit.

I know I'm going against the general craze here, but I wouldn't want to see plastic Warhounds or Thunderhawks. People who pay upwards of £300 (myself included) would be a bit miffed if suddenly everyone can have one for 1/5 of the price. I bet everyone who owned a Baneblade felt the same way when they came out in plastic: they have a bit of a prestige thing going if you know what I mean.

In terms of what I would like to see in plastic, I'd have to go for Contemptor Dreadnoughts.

TheCyben: Seriously though, I'm not advocating GW to model any Boosh characters. If they have to pick one, it would have to be Tony Harrisson... but that would be an outrage.

true, but I started this thread due to my constant panic of breaking my Forgeworld goodies... which just doesn't happen to gw plastics from experience. In fact I'm more likely to hurt myself on the plastic (which has happened many times, curse you ungors and Tyranid MC's). I want a Heirophant bio-titan... but, I'm wary of it as I'm afraid to snap a leg :(

Regarding Tyranids, I'd rather see new stuff, or at least new versions of old Epic stuff. Lets see things like the Dactylis, Cerebore, Viragon, Malefactor, etc come back. I really don't care if they never do wings in the Warrior box (expecially since the FW wings are amazing), not do I want to see a plastic Malanthrope or Heriophant. I want to see new stuff. If they want to give us an Apocalypse model, give us a Dominatrix.

Maybe go look at the page again, because there's 2 . One with a pair of biocannons and scything talons, one with two pairs of scything talons and an acid spray. They're basically weapon swapped Heirodules, like a Carnifex with four scything talons and a carnifex with four devourers.

It's not just a plastic coffee table, it's a plastic coffee table that holds my entire Tau army, cups, a kettle + running water supply, and biscuits, with room to spare.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
