A few years ago, I was using an exactly blade to mod a Tyranid warrior into a prime. I wasn't paying attention to my fingers, and on a thick piece of plastic the blade skipped through and sliced the tip of my finger nearly off, with just the fingernail keeping it on(and nearly cleaving through it as well!).
They didn't use nearly enough anesthetic to keep me from feeling them pulling stitches through my pointer finger.

Hobby knife fell off the right side of my desk, bounced off my chair arm landed point first in the right side of my left thigh about an inch above my knee. stayed there to had to pull the little fecker out. I now have to use EVA foam matting arouns my work area as blood spurted on the carpet and wouldn't come out! Any tips for removing blood stains

Sure Space Wolves Land Raider Pilot

Using a hobby knife to remove some previously owned models from the base. Tried to get the knife under the foot enough to pry the rest off. Hoping it would just pop off. Well before I applied the pressure to get it to pop off, I paused and mentally told myself..."I'm going to get cut..". Sure enough, POP!.. There goes the model and base. I stick the blade about 1/4 inch into my hand. Angry, I throw the knife at the floor and run to the sink to get some cold water on it. I then notice that I also, some how, managed to gash my thumb as well. Good news is there was no stitches involved for either. When the ol lady asked if I needed stitches... face when white and almost hit the floor. Now I just have a quarter inch scar and more respect for a blade.
Moral of the story: If you think you will get a wound... your going to get it.

I'm actually missing about a 1/4 inch chunk of thumb meat on my left thumb. Hobby knife misuse. While watching Ricky Bobby. Delicious.

A buddy of mine had his Oop night goblin army fully painted and displayed. All 8,000 points of spears raised. He fell backwards on it. Smashed his entire army beyond repair, and had about 50 night goblins stabbinghim in the back. Each was in with the full spear tip. Funny as all gak. But so sad to see a beautifull army decimated.

Enzyme washinp powders work well. Biotex is my favorite.
As for me? Well about a month or 2 ago i am working on a 1:144 scale karl-gerat 41 54cm superheavy morser and i notice that there is a part that needs some significant trimming. So i pick it up along with one of my small industrial razors. the blade slips and enters my left index finger. Much, much pain and blood literally spurts everywhere. I sit there, stare at it, say to myself "oh gak" and then go to the bathroom, wash the blood off and rap it in loo roll to stem the bleading. My mum comes into the kitchen, sees the blood and freaks out. As it is she dresses it and tells me not to take the bandage off for a day. Thankfully, due to my regenerative capabilities, it heals in days. But i have a (rapidly fading) scar, now only 1/8th of an inch, on my left trigger finger. Oh and some blood stains in my room i keep meaning to clean up.....

5 years ago I was cutting out the pieces of a Drop Pod out of the sprue with utility knife (I was pretty new to the hobby, especially the modelling part) And as smart as I was I was cutting towards my body, when one part proved to be a little more stubborn than the others so I applied a little more pressure..... and BAMM. End of story, 9 stitches where necessary to fixate my skin back on my left thumb.
