Here's a shot of the graphics I used. They're sized for the parts and I included some with each order. All you need to do is trim around the edges with a good pair of scissors or a hobby knife. If you want to go the extra mile you can run a black felt tip pen or sharpie along the edges to get rid of the white that shows along the edge.
It works best to peel them off the backing paper with a hobby knife or with a small sewing needle. (being careful not to cut yourself)
Also if any of the vending machine parts arrive slightly bowed you can heat it up in hot water for about 30 seconds and it'll become flexible and can be bent back into proper shape shape. Sometimes resin can act funny with extreme temperature changes, right now it's below freezing here and they might warp slightly in transit or when they warm back up to room temp.

Room temperature at the moment barely feels like it is above freezing, so I shouldn't see bending until spring...

Just got my vending machines in, thanks PG At little smaller then I thought, but relooking at the pictures they are as advertised. The detail is absolutely fantastic. I'm actually considering using the back of the venting machine as a display of some sort and finding a diff way to bulk out the back of the vending machine

I'd left the vending machines as two parts, it works best for the molding and I also had simular ideas of using the back pieces as other machines. Best way to bulk it out would probably be to get some of the square styrene rod and cut it to fit the back. (likely 2-3mm wide stuff)
I'd also considered leaving the info signs as two parts but they were a bit too large and wouldn't fit both halves in the standard molds I use. So that got made into a one piece model.
Over on the Data Sphere forum people have been requesting some alternates to the MAZ stuff and I'll take a look at that as the human and alien terminals shouldn't be too hard to come up with designs for. http://datasphere.codestrike.co.uk/index.php
I'll start some tinkering with new designs later this week.

Glad you like them I want to say thank you to everyone that's supported my business with an order.
I was able to recoup my costs already which lets me start working on the next batch of stuff. As I haven't done terrain before it was a bit of a blind leap and I was a little uncertain about how they'd be recieved. I greatly appreciate the support.
For new terrain that can be used for objectives, how large would you prefer the pieces to be? From what I understand 40mm tokens are used but how would you want that to transer into height, width etc? Partial cover / full cover?
I know that in sci fi movies computer terminals and processing stuff is bulky and large but given how real world tech works I think they'd be small like desktops or even built into walls etc by that point. So there is a bit of clash in realism vs standrad sci fi fare.
I've been giving dead space 2 a run the last couple days and there's so many juicy background elements in there. Another favorite near future genre I love is Killzone as they have lots of nice techy looking stuff.
I can model stuff ranging from simple little scenic details or I can work on stuff more focused on granting cover, so what do you guys want to see the most?

I'm guessing you don't own the Infinity campaign book so here is a good reference for what size things need to be for objectives.

I like my objectives in the 30-40mm range, but not enough to be something that itself provides cover. At least not total cover. Maybe I'm being too fluffy, but hiding behind whatever you're trying to secure doesn't sound realistic.

My second order of books and minis arrived yesterday which I spent my afternoon assembling. I now have the base book, human sphere and paradiso books. Here's what I have miniatures wise, if there's any suggestions for stuff that'd be helpful or provide better synergy let me know. I need to boil this down into a manageable list that I can use to play a few intro games.
orc - hmg
orc - shotgun
orc - multi rifle
4 fusiliers - multi rifle
indigo spec ops
swiss guard - hmg
(2) akialis sikh commandos - hmg & multi rifle
orders Sergreant - spitfire
armored cavalry - hmg
cutter - hmg
3 drone bots (one complete box plus a spare that is missing parts to be a missle bot, but can be built as any of the other versions)

The cutter looks like a nasty piece of work on paper. A TAG with TO Camo? Yes please!
It'll depend on how you build your list, you look like you have a few HMG in there, just make sure you don't go over the SWC of the points total. I'm the opposite, I need more heavy weapons at the moment.

If its just for intro games then 3 or 4 of the fusiliers and the ORC Multi rifle is probably a good place to start to get the hang of the basics. Then you can start adding in things like the Akalis or order serg for a bit of variety or swapping out the ORC for some of the other HI.
As far as synergies go unless you want to use the remotes with a TAG in the list you will need a hacker to be able to field them. I don't play Pan O so i don't know too much about their hackers but the Kamau is one of the better defensive hackers in the game.

I got my package in today.
I'm not a big fan of resin. Ok, honestly, I hate it. Gut reaction. But your stuff... it takes the cake. You can barely see mold lines on most of the pieces, no bubbles, pieces line up like a charm... and you printed me the little labels too.
I felt the earth move. Was it good for you too?

Glad you like them I try and take care to screen out the bad pieces as I pack stuff. The resin is from Smooth-On and it's the best stuff I've worked with, it's tons better than most of the other brands I've tried.
Also if anyone gets a wonky piece just let me know, I try and make sure all the casts are good but sometimes an odd bad piece does manage to get through.

Now why doesn't GW use this as their product? The keyboard has not a single miscast, bubbled or squiggly line. It is impressive. Automatically Appended Next Post: And you know what they say. I apreciate the feedback and of course the referrals It means I'm doing my job right. The newer the molds are the less evident the flash is, the stuff that went out that weekend was super clean (even by my normal standard). The more they are used the thicker the flash gets and mold slip can always happen, but spending an extra minute or two before casting to make sure thing are lined up helps prevent a lot of miscasts.
My thoughts behind why smoothcast gets so bad is that they have employees who are pressed to get volume done and may not always have the best training or their quality control slips. I put my name on the products I sell so I try to make things at the best level I can. Sometimes that slows my production down a bit, but that's ok as I aim for quality. I do have a fail rate probably about 10% depending on the age of the molds and what the part is, but since I watch the stuff at every step of the process I'm able to see and address problems sooner than if it were a multi person opperation.
They also may be using a differant grade of resin or casting at a lower pressure. The viscosity of the material greatly effects the amount of bubbles that get trapped, I've used stuff from Alumilite it's like tar and it leads to all sorts of problems. Smooth-On and Micromark make the two best resins IMO and both are very thin which really helps reduce bubbles. You also have to take care not to over mix it otherwise you end up creating tons of bubbles, which goes back to poor training or not being attentive.

I've only used Easy Cast, which is more of a craft store type of resin, so I rely on your expertise, but so far the results are there.
This one time, I was making a tube full of dyed resin to act as a "plasma" tube in my room's decoration, but the tape I put at one end slipped, and I had a bit of leakage... but it turned out is made a nice parabola, which now difracts light perfectly.
But I digress.
Are you going to participate in the O-12 Program?

I'm not sure what the 0-12 program is. Is it a tourney event or something?
Only 0-12 that I'm slightly aware of was Battlefoam's Romeo's ranting on podcast or something and I haven't listened to that. (as I already know he's a tool) On the data sphere forum a thread discussing his rant had 0-12 in the title but no idea what that actually means.

O-12 is actually the new form of United Nations in the Infinity Universe but they actually have power and accomplish stuff. It's made up of individuals from through the human sphere.
Here at dakka it's a thread about doing a figure spec ops figure trade.
The podcast gets it's name from it too. The podcast isn't bad. Ya Romeo is...over enthusiastic but the last one was pretty good. He apologized for some things he's said and moving on. He hardly even talked in the last one.

Thanks for the compliments Whenever I see a bunch of orders all go to the same area I know I've done my job well
I've started on the next batch of stuff so I should have a couple basic renders in the next week or so.
I got in my first game today against Eric up at Games Plus and picked up a pair of models, a kamu hacker so I can use my bots and fulisier with HMG so I'm not restricted just to Orcs for them. We did a basic 150 point game, my Pan-O vs Yu Jing Japanese Sectoral.
The game was fun and helped grant a bit better understanding of the rules, particuarly camo which was kinda confusing based on my inital reading. I've always been much more of a hands on learner, rulesbooks always put me to sleep for some reason. I do ok trying to get through them once i have a feel for the game, but a straight up read of mechanics always comes off as a chore.
I hooked Eric up with several of my terrain pieces as I'm sure he and John will apreciate it for their Adepticon table. If you guys need more just let me know.

I always found the Camo pages in the rulebook to be very daunting. It's a long bit of reading in tiny print, but it becomes very instinctual once you see it bear down on you from the opposite side of the table. :-)
Von Skyfury: Dude, we're talking about a Fusilier here. Though he can come with a spitfire armbot... could be worth a look. Less of a target compared to a TAG....

There are some aspects to the game that if you master it you can do really well. Camo or Hacking for instance. There are some guys (usually Nomad players) that can just obliterate you with hacking. Even against Ariadna.
