Seriously... ??

PM another Mod (not nessessarily a SwapMod or ArticleMod) and ask him to review the situation and thread.. OR PM one of the 2 site Admins (Yakface and legoburner) and appeal to them

However.. DON'T come off as high handed. Treat them as if you would talk to a supervisor at work, instead of an entitled customer.

I'm not a moderator, but I'd like to point out this does not count as a thread necro. A thread necro is reopening a time-sensitive thread and not adding something significant, i.e. bumping a 2 year old thread about a product release and saying "those look awesome". From the FAQ:

The only time it would be okay to post in one of these dormant threads would be to add vital new or missing information to the existing conversation. .

So bumping a thread to note an allegedly problematic seller has moved to a new storefront pretty comfortably fits that criteria.

Since I am new and I have no idea where to ask this question and the incident occurred in this thread, I will ask it here.
Where can we point out the misuse of power a Mod has performed and get a real hearing on the particular behavior?
All I made was a calm statement about what I found to be generally offensive about some postings on this thread.
Another person replied calmly and I responded in kind.
While we were talking, Manchu busts in, tells me to shut it up and I received abusive treatment at his hands.
And then he deletes my request for an apology.
I really want to talk to someone in charge other than the assaulter himself Manchu.
OT: You could try riding in to town on your horse, guns a'blazin' and ten-gallon hat a'wavin' whilst singing the Bonny Blue Flag and challenge the MOD to a duel at high noon? Colorful stereotypes aside, you could get some thick skin, take the perceived slights to your adopted state in kind, and stay on topic after repeated warnings.

On Topic: I've bought one item from The Players Cove. It wasn't in bad shape but it certainly wasn't what I expected in terms of quality, customer service, and timeliness. Alas, didn't see the point of raising a ruckus when some glue and green stuff would fix it up. Definitely won't be going back though after reading the horror stories in this thread.

Seriously guys, no need to drag out the spectacle. Let's drag it back on-topic and keep it there. Thanks.

Statistically speaking, you'd probably have been fine. It's just that if you ended up being one of the customers like me who had an issue that was 100% completely her fault that she would try to weasel her way out of it and not take any responsibility for her own mistakes.

INDEED!!!
Other than you did miss the apostrophes in "shouldnt" & "couldnt".
My experience is that Texas is big on education too.
Granted, for some folks, that is just an excuse to have football teams, but that is just some folks.

"We're"?
BH, where are you?
My people are up north of the Metroplex - the Sherman and Dennison area.

Indeed, there are a "few bad apples" or "turds" as my cousins say, but they get dealt with.
At least they all seems to be contained within the distinct minority of folks in Texas.

I was wondering just now BH, why do you have a variation on a Georgian handle?

I'm from Houston (Tomball technically, but Houston is easier to explain). Bossk Hogg is a mashup of the lizard dude bounty hunter from Star Wars and Boss Hogg from Dukes of Hazard.

To bring it back on topic, I've ordered from them once or twice before, but didn't have an issue. Sorry to those that did. Ebay/Paypal normally sides with the buyer in most situations, so hopefully it will get it worked out. But always open a ticket by the deadline, no matter how many "the check is in the mail" excuses you get.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't realize there was a distinction and just rather thought that any addition to a long dead thread counted as necro but that only some necro was actionable.

Not really.

I only normally have access to a GW, and I personally try and minimise the amount of my hobby money that GW gets, so nearly my entire hobby budget gets spent online, either from eBay or a variety of retailers.

I have never, not once, had a problem.

Issues do arise though, but the majority are resolved between both parties with minimum fuss. By the time you get to the tiny number of transactions that go wrong and aren't resolved as the buyer would like, as mentioned here, you are looking at fractions of one percent of total purchases.

Rest assured, if there is a hobby retailer who is persistently letting its customers down, or treating them poorly, someone on Dakka will bring it to the community's attention, so just a keep an eye out for names on here, and all will probably be well.

I ordered from them back in 2008 or 2009, when I first started playing and had no issues. I haven't bought from them since, though, as I haven't found them to be reasonable on their prices with assembled and crappily painted models.

For the love of Pete, stop.

Nobody is persecuting Texans for being dishonest. It just so happens that the greatest name in scamming that this community has ever seen is based in Tx, and, coincidentally so is this seller.

That's all there is to it, as you'd be aware if you'd been signed up for more than five minutes and read a few threads before you started attacking people.

I joined the forum specifically to post here that she left eBay to open up an Amazon store. I was graced with being her first ... err, customer.

I ordered an Army Painter "Psycho" brush from her store through Amazon. The brush was put into a plain bubble mailer with no protection, packaging or otherwise, and the mailer was just barely long enough to fit the brush. Needless to say by the time it got here, it was snapped and broken. She (begrudgingly) refunded me and is now incessantly emailing me after I left her negative feedback on Amazon. I found this thread after a quick Google search; now I just wonder what mess I got myself into.
