It's no problem. After being forced to watch an ad to read the content I thought I'd spare the rest of Dakka

This show will fail. The popularity of that episode of Kitchen Nightmares was not the "kooky couple"; it was vicariously seeing the d-bags you've all worked for/with in the past have their feet held to the fire and their business fail.

And as a side note, I've never been a fan of the American version of Kitchen Nightmares, because I prefer to see Ramsey do what he's very, very good at: restaurant stuff (a technical term, I know). The American version instead spends all of its time focusing on "healing" the psyches of the owners, etc. Now, I hate Doctor Phil, so I really do not care to watch Gordon Ramsey act like him; striving towards that big emotional breakthrough about 40-45 minutes into the program, and then save the day. That's bs.

Yeah. I've been watching the shows on Netflix and while I don't laugh as much watching the UK version of the show, it is a more interesting program. The people in the US version are hilariously stupid, but the UK version is a more insightful, at least in part because the format is reoriented towards the business, and the people are no where near as dumb..
