Paint one of the helmets pink...for me please? (feel free after painting it pink and posting a picture to paint over it in your actual scheme)

Was she hot? I'd totally bang a cougar for some minis.

Wanna see some Cygnar? Witty coments? Mediocre painting? Check this out!

Lol what kind of pink? The one you used on your stormknights? I will try ^^ Don't know if I can make a good colour with the paints I have ^^

Anyway, I was painting my Brontian Longknife! And I'm happy with it in person, but looking at the pictures I think this is my worst model I've painted so far XD
I really like the transition of his skin, it appears a little more yellow than it is, but I might stay away from the bugmans glow + reikland shade combo next time. I really don't like the orange tone it gives. And I might add stubble to his head. I also didn't really know what to do with his camo pants, so this is really just me messing around q: for the catachans I might use a less busy camo scheme. And I could just make another brontian if I find a suitable head ^^

And more pictures + the fluff image for those who don't know this regiment:
Spoiler:

I didn't add that much knives, because all I had were the cadian knives and some leftover knives from the scion kit, which are way too big. Also I didn't bother making the armor, the catachans are too bulky, I would have to skulpt bulky straps and armor, which would obscure all detail I think.

I also got some quick pictures of the assembled special weapon guys:

And from my commanders cape. I think I'm leaving it this way, I'll just touch it up with some liquid GS to hide some crevices. I want to use the scion servitor skull for my commander, giving the skull the crest centurions would wear. This way, I can use the head I chose, but still show his rank in some way ^^ I already cut up the spiky halo from the skull, only need to sculpt another crest for it. I'll stick it to his back, just as it would on the tempestor ^^
I've also made a sergeant out of my last model, because I wanted to use the command arm carrying the helmet (no picture yet).

And lastly, I've started priming my bases ^^ I don't like to do this, :p Glueing the plants was fun, but painting the bases isn't that interesting :p

I like the camo pants quite a bit actually. Solid and clean...They would look good en masse and look like a fast and easy paint.
Cheers

That means a lot coming from you o:
I love your catachans, ogryns and kroot T.T

It is quick to do, and I only have 20 catachans. But maybe I need some more contrast to stand out on the table.

So hi guys, another update after a long time.

This time though, I haven't done nothing, I just didn't have time to update anything.
I just finished my bachelor test (is this a thing, or is it called otherwise in english?) and other lab tests with a ton of work to process, and actually exams are coming up aswell.. whatever.
I've also spend my time playing the witcher 2 as it was on steam sale. Makes me want to pick up my Lotr minis and make some conversions first ^^

Anyway, here's what I added to my imperial killteam:

Plus: I've tried magnetising it, and though it was a pita to do because I didn't have the right equipment, I managed ^^ :

Spoiler:

Only need to find a tutorial for some easy weathering..Then there's this guy plus his backup:

That means my current force looks like this:

Comments and suggestions are welcome!
I only need to paint the base rims and I'm probably adding some more grass to the bases. Then there's only these 6 guys remaining: plasma, melta, grenade lobbing guy, a sergeant, commander and a plasma priest ^^ yay!

And since I was painting anyway I started finishing my Infinity Tuareg hacker, so that'll be the next one i show you! Since it's exams I don't know when that'll be, but I hope to update this blog a little bit more often again s:

P.S. Duke I haven't forgot about pink helmets, but these were painted already. Next one will be for you ^^
