Man. What the hell St. Louis? Not that I'm upset at all about them giving us game six and the first Fenway World Series clincher in just shy of a century, but feth man. At least fight for it. One run in the top of the seventh is JUST NOT looking good. No action in the 8th inning for St Lewis at all, though they do seem to be holding the Sox at six runs.
I beg of you sarge let me lead the charge when the battle lines are drawn
Lemme at least leave a good hoof beat they'll remember loud and long
feth yes. Not to mention it's the first at home world series clincher for the Sox since what? 1918 or so? Since fething Babe Ruth himself was still pitching? And Ortiz! My goddess Freyja's finest high heeled battle boots that gak was INSANE! I don't think there's a drug on earth that can explain a .733 batting average. Haters can eat horse gak.
For Boston, for Boston

thy glory is our own

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!
ON TOP OF THE WORLD ON TOP OF THE WORLD!!!!!
What a magical night. To say Fenway was a madhouse is an understatement. It was so bonkers you could actually see wacha and other cards flinching and folding due to crowd hostility and noise. The sox would not be denied the crowd was incredible. And now the sox are WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!
Don't worry about a thing, because every little thing is gonna be alright. I say don't worry, about a thing.
They won it emphatically, very well deserved for the bearded Sox
But, I have to say one lowpoint... the Dropkick Murphys singing the national anthem at the beginning. Gosh, that's the worst one I've ever heard . Granted, they launched into their own song afterwards and that was good (for the brief moment it was televised). But the anthem... ugh!
And agreed, Ortiz was absolutely insane. Very happy for him! Do you think he'll retire on a high note, or is the feeling among the Red Sox that he'll be around another season... or two? He's got to be about ready to call it a career here... and as my wife said last night, it's better to retire a season too early than a season too late. And that's why I love her

Congrats again man!
That's awesome that I psuedo-know someone who was at this game.
The drop kicks we're good but frankly I'm sort of burnt out on them as shipping out to Boston is played so much.
There were so many people at the stadium it was CRAZY. If you told certain security guards you were at the marathon they were letting people in in the 4th inning without tickets. 3 of my friends got into standing room only spots without tickets.
This was seriously the loudest event I've ever been too, my ears are still ringing. When the crowd started singing 3 little birdies for victorino you know it was something magical.
Some series notes MVP David Ortiz went 19-25 on base, hit .688 with 2 home runs, 6 rbi's, 2k's, and 8 walks..... That's fricken unreal!
The cards have some serious players wacha is an animal regardless of what happened last night.
KOJI KOJI KOJI KOJI TIME!!! What a magical season and my condolences to cardinals fans as you guys had an amazing season and a great series.
One last thing screw you Boston fans for flipping cars and rioting after the game. Really classy, especially wih the security lock downs because of the bombings in April.
Chancetragedy, University of Maryland fans around here went through a phase when they would trash cars after winning... utter nonsense, and I think the police cracked down and it hasn't happened in a while. Why in the world would you do that after a win... or after any game!?
Very happy for Ortiz, that was the best Series performance I've ever seen!

It stopped when a drunk student got his ass beat by some police a few years ago at a post game riot.
That and UM sports in general is in a nosedive.
Anyway, congrats to Boston!
